Top video bud, can see you’ll come into your own in due course, even more so when you have the right tools & equipment lol! Really interested to see how you do all the pitch works etc so please keep the videos coming! I’m sure the pitch will be even better when you’re all up to speed although it looks pretty decent now to be fair.
Day one and already a mountain of work! It’s great to see you slowly getting your head around it mate. I’m sure once you settle in you’ll be all over it and producing amazing wickets. These are probably my favourite videos so definitely looking forward to more! Keep up the great work mate
I’m so curious as to what their expectations were for you, and what they told you to expect, in regards to equipment, their processes, it sounds like a fkn shit show!
Hey bghetto honestly love this type of video and it’s going to be a very good experience for you and a great opportunity. Would love to see more of the groundsman content

@@FRBEZANNY I don’t know the bloke so I’m not sure what his situation was or how he did regarding the work. Can’t really speak on it Leaving them with a few days left is bad, but maybe he had just had enough and needed out
@@user-df2wu1zi2m yeah I said council. I don’t fix all the subtitles cause takes ages it’s just auto captions. Maybe my Aussie accent when I say council sounds more cancel
I would verticut the wicket a few times (4 or 5 times) during prep. (2 weeks) to thin the grass profile out and also brush up before every cut and after rolling. (Not on game day) But considering you have been dropped in the deep end you are doing a quality job
Hopefully you get the right equipment. You would think they would have atleast some good equipment and not them shitty ones. 5 Hours+ to mow is crazy. At that rate I would get a tractor and a mower and have it down in a hour, 5 hours is to long..
Council gonna mow it from now on. Much easier that way. I’m getting the hang of the equipment now haha roller just takes some time to learn how to steer properly
@@bghettovlogs2064 Well thats good. So stupid that were you working has badd equipment when your old job had better equipment and its a bloody school. this is a cricket club thats just so silly to have bad equipment.
Hey legend. Must say not being able to spray the outfield those weeds look like dog shit in green. Just take positives when u can mate. Learn and use the knowledge for a bigger and better job opportunity down the track. Keep ya head up better than being in cold Melbourne right now 😂
Sounds like you’ve really been thrown in the deep end with this gig mate. But after seeing your previous work within the next couple months this should come up an absolute treat. Keep up the good work brother and hopefully you can get some proper equipment
Really great job mate, getting out of your comfort zone and heading to another country for a job that is close to your passion, and giving us satisfactory videos. But again you need to maintain your health as good as possible to do good in the long run, you don't want to burn out before you hit your forties. love your videos watching from Melbourne.
