One other thing as well to try, i used to bat on the guard you take, take the same guard but place your feet where the ball of your bit toe is on the line and slightly lower stance helped me so much

Try and discipline yourself. You’re getting out playing across the line. Even in T20 you can afford to have a dot ball or two. Hit straight in the V.

Chin up man, you can bat - just a couple of bad games. Enjoy yourself and look after your body. Embrace the experience of playing English village cricket and all the vibes around it, and you’ll have fun regardless of the runs total. It’ll help with waiting for the ball and playing it under the eyes. Love the videos still!

Maybe next year you should try and get a game for a club in the USA?! That said, the T20 has shown that the standard of cricket is improving there and you might struggle.

English humour. They're mainly rugby players, who sometimes go in for dodgy humour. A play on the idea of batters "nicking off", ie edging to slips and the keeper.

Think you just put the ball in the wrong spot could've flat batted it down the ground or over cover region trying to get around the ball too much, need to get some rest and sleep, warm showers and an ice bath to start the day get that body ready the rest will come. longer it goes on the better off you'll be at assessing conditions and learning how to play on it, bowled quite well too unlucky to not get a few
