Absolutely breathtaking drone shots, delightful cuisine, and consistently stunning scenery - what more could one possibly wish for? You're living a life that many only dream of! Simply incredible! Overjoyed new subscriber from Calgary, Alberta!
I feel better now. Past few years I went back to my 2003 Tacoma with 360k and owned for all of it. I know every sound and bump… I just bought a 2023 4Runner with 18k and lots of new sounds to learn.
Thanks for the great video and info. I’m surprised you noticed a decline in snow handling… Do you have the LT tires and what tire pressures do you run? Thank you
Thanks, just found your channel while shopping for Toyo Open Country or Falken wild peaks for my 23’ 4Runner. I must’ve watched about a dozen, and I finally found yours in which you actually take the tires off road to review them. 🤦♂️🤠 Keep up the great work! 🙏🏻👍🏻🌵
It’s worth to say.. the clips (white) will break if the rocker is removed the way you describe. Before pulling it off get under and squeeze the white clips so they release otherwise you’ll be ordering new ones. Not sure what the dealer charges for these but there is 16 of these for the front and left side.. Amazon seems to carry them but will only know in a couple of days if the quality is good or not.
So weird. I just built cabinet for my suv and came across your video. It is scary how similar they look. Mine is very heavy with one large drawer on one side and two smaller drawers on other side. Used similar handles and also have the silver aluminum piece. My total cost was $500. I covered mine with rubber mat and have led light bars over drawers.
America’s Tires had a delivery issue with my Camaro tires ordered….they offered a discount on whatever tire they in stock fitting my TRD Pro 4runner…..enter AT4 and we love them!
Just added mine today. Really liking them. Thanks for finding these. I am noticing a good bit of rubbing in the back. Planning to put some felt along the area. I couldn’t seem to adjust enough to stop the contact. Were you also seeing the rubbing? I’ve also got a limited with the third row seating. What did you end up doing with the seats you removed? Thinking about removing mine as well. Did you do a video on that? Thanks for sharing the work you’ve done. It is much appreciated!
Great video, thank you! Subscribed. I just did serp belt, pulleys, water pump and spark plugs on my daughters 2012 volvo with the T6 motor. 138,000 miles. The plugs were worn down to nothing, I can't believe the car was running so well. I couldn't believe the plugs had never been changed.......then I looked over at my wifes 4runner that we bought new in 2015 and has 125,000 on it and thought......shit! I think the 4runner will be getting the same treatment this weekend.
Ok forgive me as I am just getting my feet wet and I am not an electrician. But I would assume like the Tacoma there is a 400 watt 110 plug in the back correct? What is the advantage of this over that?
@@chadshumway9951 that won’t work unfortunately since it is a modified sine wave inverter. You need a pure sine wave for most power stations. Also the 400w only works while idling and it’s 100w while in motion I believe
Early 5th Gen, such as my 2010, don't have the secondary air injection systems to get in the way, making this job much easier and faster than shown. I also did not need to remove any air intake parts to access the passenger side plugs. For the entire job, I only had to remove 2 double hose guide brackets held on by plastic clips and 1 other metal bracket on the driver's side to get to the plug farthest in the rear (2 12 mm bolts). All the online videos appear to show later model 5th gen 4Runners which look way more complicated to get to all the plugs.
Great video. My camper van has a thick-gauge wire from the starting battery to the auxiliary battery. Can I do the same thing from the auxiliary battery posts? Thanks for your time.
Awesome video and awesome timing. I'm waiting for a lift kit for my 4th gen to be delivered and am doing research on how to keep factory-like ride quality. This is the absolute best summary of the geometry that I've seen amywhere.
there is no reason to overpay for bump stops. ES bump stops are easy to extend by adding a spacer if you need to extend them for whatever reason. In this day and age there is always a sucker willing to pay 300 dollars for a piece of rubber and some stickers. This mod (energy suspension) is legit.
For anyone without a lift and doing it in there driveway(not paved just rocks) it was a tight squeeze when doing the front and I’m only 150 pounds 😂 I got it done but man was it a little rough took me 1 hour 30 mins front and back
