Deploy Saladin. Deploy a Hafza disguised as Saladin. Deploy an Ayyar or Bashi Holoprojecting as 3 Saladins. Chain these so they're all within 8" of at least 2 other Saladins. You now have 5 Saladins on the field and your opponent has no idea which one their Speculo Killer should prioritise. Bashi Bazouks give you 3 cheap decoys & an irregular order, Ayyar give you 3 expensive decoys but one of them is a 2W specialist HI with Surprise Attack -6. I think the theoretical maximum of Saladins you can get is 12, but that costs 130pts minimum and uses full AVA for your holo units. 5 Saladins should be plenty. Plus: you've still got a Hafza hiding somewhere as a decoy, and you can parachute in a second Bashi later in the game for "regular" holomask shenanigans. Maybe pretend your CC15 Bashi is a CC23 Nahab, or something.
Might pick up a box due to your review. I have people who want to play a casual game. What are those steps like pieces in the middle of your bookshelf? I need those for my way too many minis.
I've been binging your Infinity lore videos, great job on communicating the themes and feel of the setting! The seven rituals, referenced around 33:00 are probably a reference to the seven sacraments (types of rituals performed by a priest in the Christian traditions). In the orthodox church these are baptism, marriage, eucharist, chrismation, confession, annointment and ordination.
Love this infinity content. Hoping it gets back into fashion as all the content is basically two years old. Nevertheless great video that reflects how diverse all the army's are. Says pano, yu Jin and JSA player😂😂
The sculpts are undeniably incredible but the swords are really out of place and (along with the grilled helmets/masks) cement them as primaris space marines but infinity. A baffling choice from CB. They could've gotten away with it by reducing the size of the CC weapons and ideally having dedicated sheaths for them. The shields look great, sells Torchlight as peacekeepers. Great presentation btw! Love the splicing between review and lore.
That intro sold me on the video and the channel so fast. I’d seen your content before, told people it’s the best infinity lore around….and yet they still caught me off guard.
Video idea: Infinity for 40k fans - What's similar, what's different, what faction to play if you like each 40K faction (easy one: If you like Space Marines, try playing PanOceania)
I first saw the Yuan Yuan in the N4 rules, with the hacker and Yuan Yuan looting cargo....thought it was a space viking with the braided beard, and I suppose it is!
