Very good take! Like you said in the video, Feyenoord and Liverpool are very alike as club. A working class club, in a harbor, both singing you'll never walk alone. As a kid i hated Liverpool for buying our best player Kuyt, until i dove deeper into what Liverpool was like as a club. It made me support them aswell.

In the first season at Feyenoord Kokcu came up to Slot asking why they were training on long balls to the flank all of a sudden. Slot just said: You'll see with one of the upcoming game plans. Preparation for the Olympique Marseille game up and: Guys, the space will be available with long balls to the flank s like we've been practising lately. Game starts, players saw the space freeing up and Feyenoord won their home game by exploiting the space Slot saw coming from a mile away. This was the season where the entire transfer budget 5 million Euro came from selling their best player. Slot made a rag tag team out of loanees, youth players and other cheap players. (Aursnes for instance, bought for 500k, sold a year later for 13mil.) A season later Feyenoord's best players sell for 30is million. The man creates value, his players love him.

I think he will be good. I trust Michael Edwards and team who's been doing the ground work and they're going with brave option but not popular. One thing I find it fascinating is Feyenoord supporters sing You'll Never Walk Alone song which is that's Liverpool Anthem. I saw it in the celebration of them winning KNVB cup recently and also Dortmund fans sing the same song in their matches. That is really interesting. All and all a true LFC fans will support the club whoever the manager is. YNWA!!!!!

The tactics all this season and from that Arsenal game the season before the 2-2 at Anfield we have been using Pep Linjders tactics which are terrible. Football is so bad too watch at the inverted RB leaves us wide open down our right hand side
