when guitarrists mess around with the guitar setup, because they are guitarrists.. well.. theres luthiers for that.. and when luthiers try to be music producers.. well...
Unfortunately there's a lot of us are on the wrong side of 50 Will and there seems to be more funerals than weddings these days. Sorry about your missus brother, it's hard loosing siblings and parents. But she must also be relieved you're OK for the moment. After seeing what it did to my father, I'm glad I was never a smoker (I tried it when I was younger). After 50yrs of smoking he just quit like that too (unfortunately too late to save his lungs from cancer). Speaking about exercise, I picked up a bike over the weekend at our local recycling centre and figured it would help me take a few pounds off while doing something useful. Not having ridden a bike in maybe 30yrs, yeah it's just like riding a bike 😂. A little wobbly but OK. However after riding up and down my driveaway that was enough 😂🤣(I'm on a farm so it's 100m). Couldn't believe how out of shape I was. Perseverance, Perseverance. You'll get to your goal Will.
is it possible to build an acoustic without a drum sander or hand planing stupid amounts of material? I dont think I can safely set my planer to less than 1/4"
ROFL! Sometimes your videos are so relatable! I'm currently dealing with the EXACT same haircut issue. I was medium to medium/long haired at the beginning of this Summer. Because of some Thyroid issues, l can't take the heat like l used to. I went to a new barber out of convenience. Let's just say, now as a 58yr old, Scottish/American, I'm walking the streets with the haircut of a 13yr old Mexican child. 😮😮😮😮
Bro have some blood work done and have your magnesium and potatsium levels checked being deficient in those could be one of causes of your a fib issues . Discuss with your Doc , some Docs miss this one. Take care , prayers for you and your family.
I never started smoking til I was 31. After about 11 years nicotine was like making my esophagus swell up and I'd have to have plenty of water to force down sandwiches, burritos, anything that was sticky going down or I'd basically just be choking to death. It took another 5+ years before I just quit smoking altogether and havent bought a tobacco product since February 2022. I actually tried E cigarettes and chew before as a means to quit well before I did but I couldn't get any satisfaction from those items and never vaped ever
Running is really not that healthy because it's so heavy on the joints and especially beginners are prone to injury because they run too much while their body hasn't adjusted to it. Use good running shoes, work it up slowly, have enough rest between the sessions. Beginner running schedule: Week 1 minutes: 1r 1w 2r 2w 3r 3w (r=run, w=walk) Do this for 1 week before you run any longer. Be patient. You'll thank me later. After 10 weeks you'll be able to run about half an hour.
NAC clears your lungs faster, but they should be pretty much normal after six months if you just stay active. Stay nicotine free, it's just a better life. Smoked for 15 years, been without 20 and wish I quit earlier. But I was a different person back then.
Hey Will, for me it's hereditary. My father had A/F, had a heart attack and died at 64. My brother had A/F and died at 73. I got A/F at age 66. Repeated cardioversions. Failed medical management. Had to get used to it. Rate control and anticoagulation is the best I can do.
I would forget the running until you have kicked the addiction and just get fitter from walking for the time being. No need to put yourself under to much stress too quickly
After two failed attempts to give up smoking I finally gave up on Jan1st this year using patches and lozenges containing 2mgs of nicotine. Stopping smoking was easy compared to stop using the lozenges, which was two and a half months ago now. The strange thing I found was after giving up smoking I went off the taste of my favourite beer. So I don't smoke or drink alcohol now and I feel great. I wish you all the best Will in your endeavour. The time was right for me at that particular moment and time will tell if this is the right moment for you. Love these thoughtful type of videos Will.
Get rid of all plant products. I only eat meat, eggs and some cheese and my life has completely changed. No joke, and look into it Will. Thanks for the great content over the years.
@@DetroitWrecker666 plant product: corn syrup seed oils etc bad for you. eat some leaves if you want but nutritionally not anything near as good. the rest is straight poison.
Medications did not keep me out of AF, cardioversion lasted less time. I was offered ablation, with a 60% success rate, or rate control with metoprolol, and anti coagulation, and get used to it. I chose the latter. I'm used to it now. Exercise tolerance is poor, but gentle cycling is OK.
@@WillsEasyGuitar I thought that wasn't too bad, for a second but I remembered that some breads last longer than others. Either way, I cant imagine what the heat is like for a long/double coated animal of any species or age.
@@chopperdeath It's definitely different for everyone. I quit weed and never had an alcohol addiction luckily, and was lucky to not get too far into smoking H before getting ripped off enough times to just stop doing it, but I can't seem to quit porn, maybe cause my dick's attached to my body, lmfao!
About 13 years ago I went into Afib, didn't know why and it scared the hell out of me. Here it turns out I was dehydrated. Up until that point I only drank when I was thirsty, but never had an incident after I started drinking water more regularly. Of course, I quit smoking and consuming caffeine, which was the soda and chocolate. Even now, whenever I take in caffeine I get heart palpitations. Magnesium can help, it's something many people don't get enough of, it helps slow down the heart and relax the muscles. As far as surgical procedures go, they can target the nodes that cause the heart to misfire and literally zap them, which I know of many who have had it done and they never had any further incidents.
Will, are you a candidate for a pacemaker? Have you had imaging done to see if your nodes/branches/bundles are damaged? Could it be a vagus nerve issue? Man, I'm hoping you get some respite from this bullshit. It's good to see you being active. It's hugely important. Take care, buddy.
The thing with craving is to identify what triggered it. That leads you to listing the functions of the substance in your life (socializing, managing stress, rewarding yourself, meditating, taking a break, etc.). Then you can consciously develop new habits for these important functions in your life and the cravings will be anticipated and fade aaway gradually.
i always thought vapes were worse than smoke... just the way it hits me... good to hear you made a life change, and condolences on your brother-in-law... the story about your (mis)adventure and your b-i-l's passing... it's pretty harrowing... but it's great to hear from you....
Will, you're not saying it, but thanks for teaching me all those highly useful life lessons. I am now beating up life, and others are getting caught in the positive waves too. Strange to post things on the internet, yet useful.
I quit vapes a few years back. Took me no time at all to get to the forget stage (days). Your results may vary.... Good to see you here and best wishes for your health.
Jesus, man...that sucks. All of it. My father-in-law died of congestive heart failure about 3 years ago, so I'm aware of the "life choices" you're speaking of. I wish you a happy 4th of July, but I guess that ship has sailed.

When I quit nearly 20 years ago, I didn’t have cravings like I expected. What stopped me having a fag was because I realised I didn’t want to have a smoke, but wanted to have just had one. Waiting five minutes made most cravings go away. My missus, however, still gets cravings and she quit two weeks after me. Anyway, keep on keeping on and I hope you feel better soon.
Theory is the reason people don't learn to play the guitar faster. If you want to learn the notes on the guitar, you will need to visualize a minimum of notes, one or two and take the time to let your mind process it, trying to learn a group of notes alike the circle of 4th or 5th will only gets you confuse and you will not memorize them. Memorization only works when you put your mind on the way you go or something you got your eyes at something that called your attention. Is kind of lifting weight for develop muscle, to do it you will need to exercise everyday and with your mind made to accomplish it. What to understand what i am saying.
