Nice Video! 39LBS?!?! very impressive pack. You're brave to be hammock camping in those temps. I couldn't do it in February unless I was in a tent. That folding saw looks really sweet. I haven't tried Petrified Fish yet. Kinda reminds me of a Miguron Kyrex. Great job with your video edit too. Good call going home for Valentine's day, rofl.

Hey man, I’ve been meaning to comment n thank you for finding the geckos toes product… I’ve had it on my harness for a few months. It has been useful……. I’ve moved it around-experimenting with different configurations..The yellow goes with the Sequoia harness well.. Thanks again

On the first tree, your SRS spar anchor that you tied did not look retrievable. I was not sure what happened because, at the second tree, the SRS line was nowhere to be seen and you were suddenly using an MRS instead with a hitch and Hitchclimber pulley. So my question is: Did you have to ditch your SRS after you got to the second tree? Or did you somehow retrieve it and change it into an MRS off camera? My instincts tell me it's the first option. Anyways, that was a lot of fun to watch and your methods have given me some ideas and inspiration for my own traverses. Thanks!

Grew up in the midwest and have hiked a lot of similar trails in Illinois and Missouri. Moved to Florida did some Florida trail and a couple of long sections of the AT and I was hooked. Moved to Utah and now I live for this stuff. Nice job man. Keep it up.

@@AerialTraveler My older sister did 4 years of YCCA work there. I did make the mistake of going solo camping during hunting season once. Not sure if it was legal but they hunted in there.

i was thinking of ways to solo cross a river on a tyrolean and i thought of magnets and i am so glad to see people have tested it and it is possible . this could be so useful for rescue operations since they rely so much on natural anchors

Reset your srs line using the notch quickie with an alpine butterfly on the middle of your line when you get to the top of your initial climb. Then bring both ends of the rope with you when you traverse to another canopy so you can retrieve it and reset it in the tree you just traversed to. Do this as many times as you like to traverse a dozen or more trees in one climb. Its a $50 piece of gear that will increase your mobility indefinitely as long as your cpt.hook line and your srs line doubled over can reach the next tree over.

Madd props bro,4 climb systems never looked so good double ended everything mumford end game but u should set the first open open to take with you drt mrs whatever you wanna call it with runnin bow or alpine and tail to set up the first transfer mrs drtsystem. Put on some gaffs with a foot ascender underneath em and make it home! They dont damage the tree it grows new rings will be gone in a few years. Just follow your footsteps . Epic climb well done dude. Please dont take wrong or think im offending just a suggestion.
