even if he did, what would be next for the story? Besides, Gremmy wanted to beat not to kill Zaraki. And doing that won't really accomplish it. Also, this fight isn't about winning or losing, it's about two people who one loves to fight and could always do what he wanted, and the other one who is a brain taken by Yhwach and was locked in without seeing the point of fighting as he knew he is the strongest and everyone were afraid of him so he saw no point in fighting nor killing

Kubo did dirty here, cmonnnn two senior captain with hollow abiltys lost against Sternritter some of you can say Sternritters are strong as captains but in realty they are not, captains easly beat them after regain their bankai only real threat amongs them is as nödt because of ''fear'' which byakuya easly overcome Kubo just want to show how strong ''power up'' is one of the main charter(Renji) so did this dirty shit( Sternritter besides the Ywhach personal guards ofcourse plus Gremmy) ı can understand one them doing this because they are basicly immortal and Gremmy+ Askkin have very overpowered abiltys but two Bankai wielding senior Captain with Hollow abiltys its just shitty writing and lets not forget Renji beat mask almost entirely with shikai and this happend after mask beat two bankai wielding captain we can understand a shikai can be stronger a bankai if the bankai new learned and shikai belong to senior captain but this not the case here renji come beat him with his shikai then actived his bankai and one shot mask
the Hollow mask as was stated by Kensei to Mashiro that it has a time limit when fighting as strong or stronger enemy. Besides, Mask Sternritter is a creation from James, so they are facing 2 Sternritter with one that recover Mask no matter the injury unless it's a one shot like Renji did, and second. Renji went to train in the Zero Squad which in Dragon Ball terms is the HTC
I love how simple and yet brutal Zaraki's shikai ability is. Basically "the ability to cut anything, even formless things like space". No wonder Gremmy lost, Zaraki is basically a Touhou character with that power!
I actually wonder if this is something of a mirror match in some ways? Like Zaraki's ability to cut anything - is it based off his ability to conceive of cutting that thing? If he encountered something he couldn't imagine cutting, would he be unable to cut it? It feels like something Tite Kubo would do, sneaking in a clever parallel like that.

none of this makes any sense at all. We know yhwach lives...we know he absorbs the soul king...we know ichigo saves the day with aizen...so its kinda pointless. ALSO...it makes no sense to make a new enemy and new powers with zero squad fighting to. Like we know they can steal bankai...but yhwach fails to do so because who knows. we know ichibe's power is to cut names and set power limits and he does it to yhwach yet it doesnt work. also i absolutly hate how the anime is rushing to put this out on streaming...so we GET to see it ya but....now we have 30 episodes worth of story plot pushed into 12. it feels SSSOOOOO fast.
he didn't fail to do so, cause Ichibei changed Yhwach's weapon names. And to be fair, Kubo said that he wanted to add what we see and will see in the anime had already though of, but he was too sick and not enough time
1) ichibei's ability isnt a bankai and its likely that the forms of the other sternritters werent powerful enough to contain senjumarus bankai, 2) it doesnt work on yhwach due to the almighty basically being an ability more powerful than ichibeis ink, overlapping its effects
@@Action_packedmovie7 first of all, it isn't ink but black itself. Second, it is Bankai but for Ichibei, he lived in a time before Bankai was even named Bankai. Third, I already know that as the"ink" is black itself which is why in the manga, you see black when Zangetsu tried to tell Ichigo's it's name, as Kubo said that Ichibei was the one who did it

@@Action_packedmovie7 actually the last part wasn't stated. In fact, it was said by Oetsu that he created the Zanpakutos and Ichibei named them. So we don't know that for sure. So one could say that Ichibi who lived longer than Yamamoto which is confirmed, always had a Bankai by having both Oetsu and Ichibei. As Ichibei, saw everything when the Soul King's body parts were sliced from him, which is why he knows so much and lied to Yhwach. Ichibei has an asauchi and Zanpakuto name that is Ichimonji, but naming his Bankai as "true blade" as it was called like that before the name "Bankai" was named by Ichibei. So he does have Asauchi, but he is a special case like Ichigo
they didn't forget it as Kensei told Mashiro to use her's to train Hisagi for the Bankai. ALSO, the Hollow mask's time limit is drained faster if facing someone at the same level and or faster. In the manga, other visoreds DID use their Hollow masks but was useless. If Bankai couldn't beat them, why Hollow masks would?
it's due to the fact that Zaraki and Gremmy are the same but different. Zaraki is someone who always loved to fight and was allowed to do that freely. Gremmy was a brain who was taken in by Yhwach that gave him his powers but Gremmy was locked in all this time. So this a match up of two people that do what want to, but one is free to do what he wants to and one can't
