Yhwach never really commented on who the strongest was, but his choosing to release Gremmy for the second war despite every other Sternritter being absolutely *horrified* by it kinda tells you a lot. Then you have Gremmy's own words. Whether you take them at face value or not, dude claimed to be the most powerful Sternritter. None of the other Quincy present attempted to contest this.

how he used it so poorly? I hear that alot or I hear people say that he is dumb. So I apologize if I sound rude to you, it's just that I hear that alot lol. First of, he was fighting Zaraki at his full health. No injures or what so ever. Second of, he used MAGMA, rockets/missiles WHICH by the way wasn't even in the Soul Reapers world. Then, he used drowned him and tried to trap him in the ground which would kill anyone within an hour even faster than that. After that, he used a METEOR which did NOT WORK. And lastly, he trapped him in SPACE/VOID and NUKED HIM. And STILL wasn't enough to kill Zaraki. So tell me please how Gremmy used his abilities poorly. Like, what do you expect for him to use MORE than what he did LAMFO. But yeah, other than Zaraki, anyone would've died to Gremmy.

@@soul8648 Alright, how about this? - Imagine a blender inside Kenpachi's brain. - Imagine a empty space between his head and his body. - Forget about Kenpachi, erasing him from existance. - Imagine Kenpachi being extremely suicidal. - Imagine Kenpachi being traitor, and fighting for the Quincies. 3 easy ways to eliminate him, and two to neutralize him. Gremmy used unimaginative things to fight, instead of just skipping the fight aspect and imagining solutions to a problem. Even if Kenpachi can destroy a meteor, he can't survive being decapitated or having his brain turned into a milkshake.

@@soul8648 Because of three obvious reasons. 1) They are loyal to Ywhach. 2) Their power comes from Yhwach, the moment they would even think of using it against him, they would be hit with a Auswählen. 3) Even without the Almighty, Ywhach is extremely perceptive and cunning, thinking ahead decades like its nothing. If he even suspected Gremmy would have become a problem down the road, he would never have given him those powers to begin with. And in the small chance he miscalculated and one of his followers would, I refer again to argument nr2. What are you even talking about to begin with "broken abilities"? Creating a meteor and the void of space is a broken ability. Creating a space roughly 30cm is with and 5 in height to decapitate him is child play compared to that. Creating a full arsenal of working guns and explosives is insanely taxing. Creating a single blender or spinning dagger inside Kenpachi's skull would be a hundred times easier. He turned bones into cookies with minimal effort. Doing those other things I previously stated would require even less effort and be much more effective.

he didn't forget, it's just there was no need against Gremmy. plus, Zaraki was TOO injured to even do something even without his eye patch. Sure normally, he would have been WAY STRONGER, but what's that strength's gonna do when your organs are busted? Lol. On top of that, how can you say that Kubo forgot that when he legit used that up until now?

So yes, while he has that, he didn't the power to use as his organs and body was too injured to do use his Shikai or his eye patch. No matter of how strong he got, with these injures there is no way he could have won by getting jumped like that

Besides, Gremmy lost because he couldn't imagine a body strong enough to handle Zaraki's powers. So Zaraki would probably use it if Gremmy didn't do it. But overall, Zaraki was winning the entire time, so there was no need for Zaraki to use it. He had his Shikai after all

There was actually no purpose to wearing that eyepatch anymore to seal/weaken himself. The whole point of that training or deathmatch with Unohana was to unseal his powers completely and to stop him from holding back. Him using the eyepatch to weaken himself again makes that training of theirs pointless. So it's probably cosmetic.

The Kendo is just an asspull anyway to show that Zaraki is superior to Nnoitora, even against Unohana he didn't use it.

@@fg009letyrds8 it's not an ass pull as he even said it himself that Yamamoto trained him in the same fight as a flashback. Also, he couldn't use it against Unohana as she legit killed him with one attack. The only reason Zaraki won is because Unohana wanted him to take the title as the Kenpachi. She could have killed him and left, but she wanted Zaraki to kill her. But she also "trained", him to unlock Shikai and stuff. So Zaraki had no time to use Kendo anyway

​@@fg009letyrds8Bear in mind Kenpachi doesn't actually know much since he was only taught Kendo for a single day, and then Yamamoto banned him from learning any more. It's entirely possible that Kenpachi doesn't use Kendo because he essentially only knows one move, which is that two-handed overhead swing, and that could be why he doesn't use Kendo; he doesn't actually know how to fight using both hands.

most likely yeah lol. Zaraki couldn't move as much due to his organs etc being damaged. Which means, even without his eye patch it wouldn't matter this much. Now, with him not being injured, he was able to cut a meteor, space/void, guns, and missile. So yeah, I would say he could win without fighting Gremmy. Not to mention, in the manga, Shinji told Omaeda that with Zaraki being gone, they will be done for. That was when Shinji and Momo both saved him from fighting the soldiers. And when they tried to, Bazz-B stopped them and thanked them for saying that. Because of that, he said that now, they will *have* to kill him. Also, don't worry lol, I'm not saying that to hurt you etc lol

Ay, the gremmy "arc" (read, literally a single episode and just a few chapters in the manga) were one of the most universally hated parts of TYBW arc back when they came out in manga. To be honest I was so surprised to see so many people defend the writing in Gremmy fight when the anime came out. All things considered back in the manga days we just... tried to forget Gremmy existed as soon as he was out of the picture.

What actually did damage to Kenny is being in the Vacuum of Space actually. If Gremmy didn't lose concentration and persist on locking Kenny inside it Kenny is dead.

It's not non sense it makes total sense why gremmy lost . Gremmy gave up mentally and he was scared of kenpatchi . Had gremmy been stronger mentally and alot more creative he could have won
