Quick question- we are O/O and moved to Texas and have personal stuff to haul from Nevada using our rig. For ELD do we have to run like we have a load with the ELD, or leave it off duty? We want to be legal but not sure what is the correct way to handle it going through multiple states round trip. Thanks in advance.
Good question! It all depends-are you using your truck and trailer, and do you have your company numbers on your door? If so, even though you're hauling personal stuff, you might still need to run it as "Personal Conveyance" on your ELD. This way, you’re legal without it counting against your driving hours. Just make sure it’s clearly noted as personal use, and you should be good to go for your round trip. Safe travels!
That’s what’s up, my brother! 💪🏾 Starting up is a big move. Stay focused, plan it out, and you’ll get there. If you need any advice along the way reach out to my office 832-500-0043. Let’s get it!
Technically, I know he's not suggesting anything; but anyone who is advising anyone to get into trucking in 2024, doesn't have your best interest in mind. Wait till these elections are done and see where the economy is going to lean. At the moment it's a game of Russian Roulette. It's not as easy as you see in RU-vid videos. Especially when clients are reluctant to work with New Authority and you start traveling the road of having to lease on with an established carrier. Stay Safe, Stay Blessed
I hear you, and you're right-jumping into trucking in 2024 isn't something to take lightly, especially with the current economic uncertainties. It's definitely not as simple as some RU-vid videos might make it seem. Dealing with new authority challenges and having to lease on with an established carrier can be a tough road. That said, for those who are committed and take the time to really understand the industry, there are still opportunities. But it's crucial to be cautious, stay informed, and prepare for the unexpected. Thanks for the advice, and yes, staying safe and blessed is key.
Hauling through the mountains definitely isn't for the faint of heart, and it’s frustrating when all that hard work doesn’t translate into better rates. The roads are tough enough without having to deal with low pay on top of it. Hang in there, and stay safe out there.
Really enjoyed the video and the ELD class today. You know when I first talked to you all I wanted was to operate and make money. My vision and mind has changed and I thank you and Mila for that. Money, relationship's, scale and freedom. Definitely don't want to just be stuck driving dead end like you mentioned. Thank you all for every thing you've helped us with. Hey man I'd love that review on that ac setup for your truck. You all have a blessed week you and your lady👍💪
I’m really glad to hear you enjoyed the video and the ELD Training Webinar. It’s great to know that our session helped shift your perspective and gave you new insights.I appreciate your support and am happy we could contribute to your journey. I’ll make sure to get that review on the AC setup to you soon.
What's going on MACC. Glad to see another video. Still following all of you and watching your content. I've decided to give semi a shot instead of the hotshot route. I want to see how that goes. I will always follow your content. You give great advice and don't beat around the bush. Y'all always keepin it 💯 💪
What’s up! Glad to see you’re still rocking with us. Appreciate the support Man. Switching to a semi is a big move, and I’m excited to see how it works out for you. We’ll keep dropping the real advice-no sugar-coating, just straight talk. Stay tuned and keep grinding! 💯
@HotshotMacc yeah, it is a big move, but it will give me the opportunity to see how the road is and how I like it without investing all the money to get started in hotshot. Hotshot isn't out 100%

Being a follower of yours from the beginning of your journey is something I saw your growth and ups and downs you have a plan and was one of the big platforms that supported my social media platforms!! I recently got rid of all my pages but still watch the RU-vid videos!! Take care my dude and stay safe out there!!!
My brother! I was gonna say I haven’t seen you on IG in a while. But I don’t blame you man, sometimes being off social media can be best in many ways. Always appreciated your support from the beginning. Keep grinding and getting to my guy! Stay blessed 🙏🏽💯🫡
@@HotshotMacc yessir still on the grind and hopefully about another year away from shutting it down and moving on to being a full time dad😁 take care I’ll be watching out for your RU-vid videos for sure!!!
@@HotshotMacc I really don’t care about social media for some reason your RU-vid channel popped up on my feed. I actually hate all of you guys because you lie to people.
Seeing as it’s not really rusted (from what I can tell) and the frame bent, not cracked, either he got hit from behind from another heavy truck, or he was severely over capacity, had to do a short stop, and frame said “I’m out coach”
Im considering driving hotshot, great video. The detailed info was great. Quick note on your truck with the alignment. You have a solid axle front end, before paying anyone you can measure the toe yourself to see if it is off enough to need to pay for it. Pick a spot on the front tread of the tire, inner part of the tread, measure from tire to tire in the same spot on both sides. Now go to the backside of the front tires and measure across from the same spot you did in the front. those two numbers should match or damn near match, if the front num is smaller; your tires are toed inward. If the back num is smaller they are toed out. If they are even and your steering wheel is off; it can be adjusted from the drag link bar by the adjuster at the pitmar arm. Sorry for the rant but it can save you money, these "warranties" are a joke sometimes.
Im running a 44ft PJ with air ride plus extras. I did a couple videos on the process that lead up to the purchase and why I chose this trailer. Check em out 🙏🏽🫡
I say make it to where they only get that discount if they're paying cash only for the trailer. It's fked up bro people using you for the deal. And man, I understand people especially companies go through tough times sometimes and just can't afford it, but man, he or she could've paid someone to run it for them to make the payments. That sucks. Nice recovery though. 👍 🙏✌️🫡
Its illegal as f&$^$k for them to make a profit on that credit card transaction. They can legally only charge what the credit card company is charging them to take the card. Most are 2.8% to 3%
How can I contact you for information. I would prefer to talk on the phone. I’m interested in doing hot shit and already have a truck. I just need some guidance. I just need 20 minutes of your time
Question how much a person need to get started? I been trucking for 10 years and I'm just learning about hot shot drivers yesterday. Now doing my research
It all depends on the direction you’re looking to go. Leased on? Own authority? Do you already have a truck etc. But I would say between 20-30k depending on your financial situation and to have at least 10k in reserves after you’ve started.
Hey Macc! Ever heard of the Truckstop load board? We have a partnership proposal for you! Mind sending us a good contact email for us to connect with? 💰😀
