Unfortunately it didn't work for us. I think it's dead. As much as I hate to, because I really liked this one. It has a 3rd rack, on the bottom, for baking dishes & pot covers and they don't make them like that anymore . Well, it was worth a try. My husband even put on a new computer board. I guess, after all it's 23 years, it's had it's time and time for a new one.
I am looking to get a replacement duckbill grommet for a GE freezer drain, can anyone suggest where I could search? Also I could not exactly follow what you did in the video. I saw you pulled out the black duckbill but then what was the white thing you pushed in first? Before you pushed in the replacement duckbill?
Ribbon cable = common failure. The ribbon cable can be removed from the button control also. It’s just adhered in. I found a type “b” 18 pin 1.25 pitch ribbon cable for $6 on eBay and it repaired mine. Maytag will b.s. you on the phone and say you need the whole unit.
I loosened and accidentally remove the screw too but the handle will not come off even pulling with a lot of force from all different directions. Any suggestions?
I am building almost exactly the same deck. I have my spreadsheet with items and took to Home Depot to confirm all the items and prices. Mine should cost around $696.00. I am in Texas. Lumber is high but hardware is really high! Thanks for sharing so much!!
several steps to R/R the internal parts; most important, turn off the water supply, hehehe!!!? Didn't know about the concerned integral parts within the fauset assembly; now I'm prepared & know what to get to accomplish the R/R (remove, replace, repair). Thank you!?
COMPRESSION FITTING'S THEY DON'T NEED TEFLON YOU CAN USE IT , BUT NO NEED TO JUST PUT A LITTLE PIPE DOPE TEFLON PREVENTS A LEAK AND PIPE DOPE IT'S TO VOID ANY FRICTION AND ALSO TO SEAL !!!
in 2023 what would you guys charge for a job like this? i have a cleaning company and potential client asked if I did hardwood floors, of course I said.. now off to RU-vid university I go! any insight would help. thanks dvb for content
Dude! You seriously need a new set of drill bits! ..Or sharpen them. I just bought an Apec six stage system so thanks ahead of the install for the post. Looks pretty easy. Hope it actually works.
As a contractor, I would not get paid to do the job the way you did. The square sander should only be used with a final grit to buff the flooring. Thea palm sander is a joke. You didn't remove any of the scratches and dents from your flooring (which would need a belt sander and an edger, and a lot more sanding paper and work) It was a cheap job with a cheap result. For all homeowners, you can do it yourself but you will not get professional results.
Yes, I agree and this is exactly what I was looking for. Professionals will do a better job, but I was not looking for that, I was looking for a quick and cheap turnaround. I think I made those comments in the video. I clearly state I am not a contractor and I was looking to be done as soon as possible.
