Picking up R/S, the first locals went very poorly, but only played two rounds of two games. Went 0-4. Im learning to pilot this deck, sticking with it. Please help with updates 🙏
Unfortunately no the AI makes lots of poor decisions. I use inktable more to see how consistently I can get hands I want. Work on consistency and also with enough games can see certain interactions. Your absolutely correct it is not good for competitive testing.
Every turn after turn 5 your chance to win gets lower and lower. Drawing a card and giving opponents more chances to see their answer didn't feel that good plus you miss a turn of putting down a character to quest
Not one of these decks made top 8 at the first tournament this last weekend. Everyone saying this is the end all be all is using inktable to test. The bad AI is bad, and i feel it is giving people false impressions.
I call out the decks ability to go 2nd...also have multiple times mentioned the deck won't be as good as the hype. But using 1 small event when most people don't have cards yet is a horrible judge on the format...emerald Sapphire is a bad deck but got top 8 still to prove the point
@@TheReal_InkwellGaming That Emerald Sapphire deck actually is really well built. It has many removal pieces and just keeps a full grip with Clarabelle. It was a 42 person event, while not a DLC numbers, it is still a decent amount of people and set 5 has been waaaay easier to get your hands on than the other sets. Even with that, you really only need 4 Daisy and 2-3 Amethyst Chromicon from the new set, and over the weekend Daisy did dip in price before shooting up, so at most you would be spending 40-45 USD for a set of Daisy before the event. UtS, Muses, You're Welcome, and shifting into a GYS, all making up the top 8 is enough to shut down heavy aggro.
Being well built.and doing good once doesn't make it a top tier over even tier 2 though. It will be Rogue. 1 day into release regardless how easy it is to get product means very little in the big picture of the format. But again I also think Aggro is over hyped as if they lose the board control or just going 2nd they struggle. Going 1st it's incredibly strong though. Let's wait until after next weekend before any knee jerk reactions to the META
@@TheReal_InkwellGaming didn't say it would be the meta. It was definitely a good meta call and well designed for the event if they were expecting steel song and hyper aggro. The call out of the product being easy to acquire does make a difference especially at Battle Bear that has previously had a well rounded competitive community. When it is all said and done I do expect to see Ruby Sapphire and Ruby Amethyst back at the top once the meta does shape up, but Sapphire Emerald will need to be on peoples radar as far testing against leading up to the next DLC
Inktable.net it's vs an ai so not the best for competitive tests, but if offers a good solution to see how your decks consistency is and practice mulligans.
I put together an Amber/Steel with Cinderella/SnowWhite/Dwarves with the new set. Can't wait for locals to allow it! Really enjoying the Steel cards from Set 5.
I'll have a test video up soon, as stated if expecting a lot of Aggro I would change a few things. But you can answer her as early as turn 3 meaning she only gets 1-2 quests potentially.
Few things 1. As a creator it's my job to get people to watch. 2. The thumbnail clearly shows the 2 cards so it shouldn't be that surprising. 3. It is the most broken play the game has currently Hope you have a great day

in my green/purple tempo deck, I play 2 Lucifer alongside 2 to 3 Prince Johns Mirror. I think mirror alone made Lucifer and the 5 cost green Jasmine much more impactful as a Turn 5 play after you play Mirror on turn 4.
Cool idea with the new format for emerald steel discard. I've always been curious about how a hyper lore drain deck would work, especially now with sugar rush speedway and the new Donald and tafitamuttonfuge. Pairing some more low cost locations for hei hei to bounce back and forth too. I've never seen it work too well in previous sets but this new one ads a few more tools.
@@TheReal_InkwellGaming queen can't kill Daisy, Snake, or Vanessa Ursula. Better ruby amethyst players will never swing with their Flynn unless they are ready to trade it or need lore. Gaston stops Flynn's trigger, can't be removed from brawl, and Gaston survives daisy and Vanessa and allows for a second swing the following turn. Plus if you played an ice block or pawsicle turn one, you can heal or negate the damage Gaston takes from them. It just slows down your opponent enough. Plus he can still sing OJA if you choose to play it.
If you Heal queen it also survives those minus snake...Rush also means it kills the others just as fast as Gaston since you don't wait the 1st turn. Lots of RA players are testing no Flynn anymore but yes Gaston helps there for a couple turns until they maui or force him to attack, unless you have a song. The Flynn sisu castle line is very well known to be good vs this deck idk what I'm supposed to say..like I said everything loses to something
If you’re running 4x QoH have you considered 1 drop Basil from the new set as well? He gives support 2 for turn 2 QoH plays so it’s a good counter against aggro/daisy. Basil is also inkable as well so if it’s not relevant then you can ink him.
This is a really fun deck, I love all the new cards they added to sapphire. I am worried about aggro though. How do you think it can combat that this season?
Agaisnt new green/steel aggro flyn/merfolk. Agaisnt steel/song you'd wrath your oppo' board Agaisnt saphyre/steel if you ice block you get everthing too. Purple/steel loose rabbit, drop 1, and maleficient d3. Good agaisnt aggro and green or yellow can't discard it unlike be prep
I'll g9ve ya that 1st one but you answer them really well without big sisu anyway. Steel Song it's okay at best vs Sap steel it's not good unless you have 3 ice Block up. Even then. Purple Steel it's better than. Vs Sap steel but still not great. Feel free to add it, I'm not saying you cannot succeed. I'm saying you change the entire identity of the deck and run a higher uninkable count and risk clumping.
i’m thinking goats and castle might help gain that extra bit of lore, maybe the aggro lil maleficient also the card that says if u have jafar draw two cards
I agree Kuzco is better bc of that two lore. Don’t think I’ll ever use the Resist for 4 ink but hey it’s there if I need it for some reason. I think the only downside using Kuzco is that he could inadvertently ramp other control decks, making it easier for your opponent to respond. Although he is better in the mirror because he could get rid of a dime, with only a card like Mufasa being able to get it back.
How I played Mufasa so far in the Pre Release I pulled him. I would mix up my ink and let my opponent pick the 2 ink that got returned to my hand. That seemed to work pretty well so far.
Good ideas. They are more than worth trying out. I'm still a little short of an answer to the Amethyst/Amber. Which is why Captain Hook and Smee, for example, could be interesting. What do you think?
I'm thinking pete at 4 without simba and gazelle.i loke grab at two. I want to see it. Im also still running Queen because turn two wheel is still strong.
I think a Hero Pincess Aggro Amber Sapphire list is going to be pretty crazy. I do think it looks a lot different then the set 4 version, but in playtesting its increadibly fast and with Hans, Miracle Candle, Queens Core and gleen it has a lot of reach afte they answer your board. I'm able to pretty consistently win on turn 4 or 5 agaisnt removal heavy lists on inktable.
In this deck it's a mirror tech if you run it. Stalling even one turn can actually win you a game straight up in the mirror. It's also a decent choice into red decks but red might be more character based removal this meta, we'll see
