Good afternoon. Thanks for the wonderful information. I am 56 and have a RU-vid channel. I wanted to know if I should have an email address for my channel. New subscriber!
I need help understanding. a 25 min video taking 12+ hours, and setting the quality percentage lower than 100% literally makes the file size bigger somehow, but it somehow decreases as I lower it further. this feels like possibly the most horrendous editing software I have ever used. extremely painful, agonizingly slow upon reviewing filters and cuts even with such a high end pc. I will never recommend this to anybody.
I have just under 900 subscribers. This is double what I had a year ago.. . My views however have dropped dramatically over the past 9 months.. Will verify my channel help with the views.?
I have a 1 hour video but only want to take out several 1 to 2 min clips but, I want to save the 1 to 2 min clips as separate files. Is there any way to do that without having to make several files will all the clips and trimming the video again?
Hey, I'm thinking of making a channel to create content such as fun history and nature videos, perhaps even beauty content at some point. I am hoping that I can eventually make a career out of it. Would it be best to get a business account for this, or should I stick with personal? I am literally new to all this and need some advice. Also, I am wondering about names etc. Should I use a nickname? At some point I might get recognised though and people might be wondering why I am using a fake name. Thanks for any advice you may have.
very nice tutorial on two techniques here. this really helped me to get through something i just spent hours on trying various things out before finding this video. thank you!
Hi there, I'm not sure what I am doing wrong. Maybe it's because i'm a beginner and don't quite understand. I have tried to do a timelapse over and over again. And I have tried doing it 2 different ways, but I have a problem. Lets say I have a 5 minute clip. Prior to time lapse attempts, I edit that clip - top and tail 1 minute off either end lets say. SO my 5 min clip is now 3 mins. But when I apply the time lapse to my now 3 minute clip, the bits I edited out (me checking the camera for instance) re appear in the time lapsed footage. I thought I was going mad at first. But this is definitely happening. Why.....???
An absolutely brilliant explanation! I am a video editing dummy however, I followed your video step-by-step and by George, it worked. Many thanks Joe. I am an Englishman living in Indonesia.
Hi Paul, thanks for your kind comment and very glad the video helped you! Hope all is well in Indonesia. If you have any Shotcut related questions feel free to send them my way! Gloodluck with your editing! 📸
