Aimer has no credibility. He predicted that Harrison Ford would lose his pilot license when he landed on a taxiway at orange county airport and we all know that Ford was only required to take awareness training. Aimer is one of those so called experts who cannot predict how he's getting out of a retail store checkout aisle.
Hi, I just bought a TAJIMA THEX-C1201 dated from 2002 which shows code error 3d6 and it arrived missing the installation software disk, would you be able to send the installation software please. I would be really grateful for the help. Let me know if it´would be possible..
Corey, I hope you can find the answer. Occasionally I run into these abnormalities in the real the aircraft, (Phenom 100, G-1000 Prodigy System!) Unfortunately, I don't have access the a simulator to re-enact those abnormalities and find the answers. Either aircraft or pilot induced.
I have the Just Flight Archer TX and currently working on my instrument rating in the same aircraft in real world. I’ll check this out in XP 12 to see if I can replicate.
@@DB325i Thanks very much. I would appreciate a few others who have the Just Flight - Archer TX G1000 trying different RNAV (GPS) approaches that have LPV DA minimums. These should all have a glide path displayed inside any of the initial, intermediate or final approach fixes. The default C-172 displays the GP properly but the JF Archer flying the same approach does not. Lets see if we can figure this out.
I have a Tajima TEHX-C1501 that doesn't return to the red zone after a trim/stop. This results in a 211 error code. Not sure if it's a mechanical issue or electronic issue. Can you hook me up with the guy on the phone to possibly resolve my problem? I will pay.

I have a tfmx c-1501 from year 2007. Can not start up the machine. It has not been used for a good while. I did replace the battery in the controller a few days ago in hope that it would solve the problem, but now I’m stuck. I’m from Norway and the nearest dealer/support is far far away. Part III JFK controller is clearly a family man, competent in his work, and wanting to share a small part of his working life with his kids. Both of these qualities should be encouraged, rather than condemned when what occurred caused not the least possible confusion or safety compromise. As Captain Aimer said, "pilots control airplane, controllers don't control airplanes." Except that the voices were those kids, the pilots would have expected to hear exactly what was said at that time.
The 'I'm surrounded by experienced professionals' argument does not wash. That's the same position Hitler took during WWII. ... but I digress. Employers still have the absolute right to dictate how work will be conducted by its employees on its worksites. Rusty, Add my name to the list of retired airline captains who support the JFK Controller regarding his child relaying instructions to the pilots. I agree with everything the other captains have said. It should never have been made a big deal of and there should never be a doubt about the Controllers complete command of everything going on. This uproar is pure nonsense. Much ado about nothing. If there is a fund or effort to help this guy include me. My grandson makes radio position reports in my little Cessna and will continue to do so. With my 8.5 years as a Center Controller and 30 as an airline pilot, Babbitt just might listen.
