Love this, keep up the good work. As a weekend golfer who works mon to fri I don’t get enough rounds in to learn about this. A lot of the time it’s just naivety rather than ego for me.

It definitely is! But lower scores are pretty tempting as well.

Totally agree. Play your game, not someone else’s. And I play to the back of the green, not to the flag. But I’d still rather miss my putt on the high side of the hole rather than the low side. And it usually leaves me with a shorter second putt. Just my experience. Of course you don’t want to stiff it on either side.

All about proximity. How close can you hit that first putt to the hole!

You get better results and more distance if you throw them one at a time or rather than risk putting your shoulder out open the lid of the tee box and bring the neck of the club down on the edge of the box it snaps off clean as a whistle and and you don’t have to pick it up as the heads is in they are in the tee box, the shafts can be used for holding up the peas and the bag you can plant strawberries in .👍

Nice tips, but it doesn't make any sense to take dispersion distances as a straight value like that. It should be a percentage of the distance travelled. If I hit my 6i 120 yards and I'm 50 yards left of my target, that's obviously not the same thing as being 60 left when hitting it 200+.

Agreed it is a percentage 10% in the dispersion but also can be averaged by players handicap / scoring average to get estimates. I think the 10% rule is great for players down to about a 5 handicap then it shifts to 5% which is what tour players are trying to achieve.
