I think this is my favorite design/interpretation of Poseidon. You can see him blend between Man, and shadow and it just feels so sinister and cold. I want to see more of him! So fun to watch him move around!
Yeah, going to underworld cant be simple task and can result in more casualties. But Circe won either way. Even if they get out of underworld (which they did), they wont bother her or her nymphs again.
"How'd ya like to rub it from the inside, mouse boy?" Can go in 2 wildly different directions and from how red the lil dudes face got I can see he was thinking of the more ✨️interesting✨️ version
perhaps she wants to show him the danger of entering the underworld... her yellow eyes are from her father, Helius. but she is also one of the nymphs of the sea. She have a lot of power.
APOLLO MY FABULOUS BABY BOY ILY SO MUCH! I love you Apollo design so so so much! He and Hermes are my favourites! (A long with Ares and Aphrodite but that's not the point.) There's not much out there that has Apollo in it and it makes me real happy to see this and his voice is just *chef's kiss* perfect. I'm really excited for his part! Edit: I just realized that the gods and goddesses don't have irises or pupils, unlike Odysseus who's a mortal. I really like that detail to show that they're not mortal or a human, they're divine powerful immoral beings! Edit 2: I also love how Apollo's skin is a golden colour like a tan because he's the god of sun!
I REALLY love how hard you leaned into horses with this one! Most people picture Poseidon as just the ocean, and to see you connect that with his equine aspects as a literal seahorse was so entertaining! I keep rewatching the beginning where the horsehead just rises out of the ocean and slams onto the ship, it's so good
I love the symbolism of Poseidon appearing as a horse, not only because he created them, but also, he is talking about ruthlessness being mercy upon ourselves while appearing as a horse, which reminds me of the trojan horse and Odysseus dropping an infant off a wall, or being ruthless to ensure his own peace later on, or mercy upon himself
