Giganta: "If I can get that magic powder away from that Indian, I'll be able to make myself famous!" "Now, I'll just push this two-ton boulder with all my regularly-sized human-strength!" Easy! No sweat!
The only thing that upset me was that they never used Giganta in alot of these episodes. She was always sitting on the sidelines . They could have used her more in this cartoon.
the finale of "Challenge of the Super friends" was like a Seinfeld finale didn't even contain the SuperFriends! just some dudes from the future looking at ruins of earth.
Yo! All these 80's cartoons had this type of great background music. GI Joe/Transformers, Super friends, Spider-Man and his Amazing friends/The Incredible Hulk
Hanna Barbera used a lot of the same music for a lot of their cartoons during the 70s. So you've probably heard that beat in another of their cartoons - I think it's been in a Scooby Doo episode from that same era. Some of those tunes were badass for sure!
After first being acquainted with This Giganta on The Challenge of The Super Friends in The Fall of 1978 I was then acquainted with The original version in DC's More Secret Origins of Supervillain's in which in a wanted series of villains The Giganta of whom looks like this one but was transformed from a gorilla and is an enemy of Wonder Woman late in February of 1979 on a Saturday when I opened up the package of 4 Collectors' Editions including this one that I got from Superhero Enterprises in Morristown NJ.
original Giganta was just more evolved gorilla (because back then evolution was really hip idea, especially for femenists) and she was just very tall woman, but not giant. then Silver Age Giganta was also made in same manner except she turned into blonde woman instead of redheadd, also she had her mind conditioned to think of becoming most beautiful woman For Steve Trevor while she was transformed which is "why" she became what she became which is very similar to other Bob Kanigher character Barry Allen Flash who also had Flash comics (about original Jay Garrick Flash) in his hands when lightning striked him onto chemicals, there is very big possibility of logic here that if Barry was reading Action Comics instead of would become like Superman or Zatara. This detail is absolutely overlooked by any other origin of Barry Allen and since 90's introduction of Speed force and his return to comics in 2009 after his death in 1986 there was whole different kind of logic behind "why" of him becoming Flash.
I’m here from family guy. I was born in 1996 when all the spongebobs and power puff girls and nicktoons shows started running rampant. As well as Cartoon Network. Even though this Apache stuff was probably still airing on tv around the time I was born I’ve never ever seen it. Family guy referenced it like twice so I decided to look it up. The way they exaggerate the way he says “ee nay chuck” is hilarious.
Gigantas alter ego is doris zeul her origin is after the apatche chiefs origin. Doris zeul stole the magic pouch from the indian and sprinkled the giant powder on her head and used it all for evil to become a super villainess. Giganta is a material member of the legion of doom aka ila injustice league of America
🎥📽️....And I just can't wait to find out who will be cast as Giganta in the Apache Chief movie; if ever it comes out! If I Livestream that movie, forget the popcorn; I'm more of a bonbons type of girl; giggle!🤭
🎥📽️Then again, I hope that The Rock, or Arnold, or Lou Ferrigno, or some other Muscle Beach-Built actor, would be cast as the Apache Chief if the movie is about to be made; giggle!🤭
Probably the same reason she can roll a rock the size of a car. She was a super powered evil bitch, he was kinda a pussy. She doesn’t need to psych herself up with a magic word. She knows she’s king shit.
Apache Chief NEVER forgot her, since she stole the magic Indian powder to use for her own selfish reasons! Afterward, she became part of the Legion of Doom!
