I just like the saying, "It doesn't take a rocket scientist" and have been using that moniker in my various writings and reviews for about a decade.
The things I review I actually bought to use, and have used for a few weeks before giving my opinions. I will occasionally give my first impressions on something I just got, which are no more than my immediate thoughts and a brief demonstration. If it's good, I'll keep it, use it, and make a full review later. If I don't like it, I'm not going to waste our time. If it sucks, I'll tell you it sucks!
