Nothing wrong with some salt & saturated fat. Saturated fat satiates, so you don’t over eat. Also not bad for heart health, despite being told this for about 80 years. 25:25

Very good 👍 video it was so good I even subscribed , hey doctor before I came across your video this is what happened to me through trial & error as follows & before I break it down I’m not a doctor so plz consult own GP thx 1. Changed to low carb low fat high protein diet ( lifestyle change ). 2. Implemented cardio 🏃‍♂️ ( between 60 mins to 2 hours a day ) maybe bit excessive but I enjoy it ! 3. Implemented Strength Training ( lots of weights full body upto 60 mins to two hours a day ) 4. The above 👆 helped me lose weight visceral fat subcontanous fat etc . Am now on a CGM ( Freestyle Libre 2 ) Was well am on Emaglifizon 10mg + ( x3 metmorfin a day ) Recently my blood sugar is no longer rising above 8 mmol even after eating , Problem I have now is what they call HYPO which is the blood sugar drops below 4mmol , lowest reading I have monitored is 2.9mmol whilst asleep I know this because of the CGM ( Freestyle Libre 2 ) I have stopped the medications and still testing blood mmol and it seems to be between the ranges of 3.8mmol to maximum 8mmol so I’m not sure what to do next … Help !! Btw video is very good thx 🙏

Tnks I am having a reading of 580 didn't take the injection for three days. Was in a trip n forgot to take the insulins n the medicines. But my sugar has been very high stress related . Tnks I don't exercise at all only house work n the gardening once a month. Tnks so much I will listen to ur advice n more on . I am having red patches coming up n black patches coming up n my legs body is burning inside my body. I am worried will I get my legs toes amputated. Numness is also there. But I am taking some seeds for that as well but that has worked. My body is scratching I do take hot water not to hot pepper powder n Termaric powder drink it in the morning empty stomach daily I find it helpful Dr pls advice me is this good or bad. I take lack seed one teaspoon each of these seed like flex seed, dhal seed, cinnamon powder, Chia seed , all this I take on a daily basis but my numness has got better on my feet n fingers. 😅I am happy. I have been in medicine for 18 yrs but Dr I am stressed most of the time. For yrs. Pls help me how to get my life in order. Tnks foe this video gods blessings to u .

How to avoid the coloring thats added in grocery stores? Is wild caught also done with coloring?

This is a great question. To be sure, you should ask the people who sell the salmon in the grocery stores if they know if any coloring is added to the wild salmon for sale. And check this out - For most if not all farmed salmon, coloring is added to give the farmed salmon the appearance of its pink color. Wild salmon naturally produces its classic pink color for its flesh. As far as I know, wild salmon gets its color from the carotenoid pigments astaxanthin and other compounds found in the food it naturally eats, such as shrimp, krill, and algae. These pigments give wild salmon its characteristic red or pink hue, and without them, salmon would be white or gray. The amount of carotenoids a wild salmon eats depends on the species, which can affect how red or pink it is. For example, wild sockeye salmon has the most vibrant red color because it eats a lot of zooplankton, while coho salmon eats more small fish as it matures.

I appreciate what this doctor is trying to do but if you have type 2 DM keep carbs below 100 grams after I was diagnosed with diabetes and successfully reversed it my HgbA1C is now 5.5 DM is carbohydrate intolerant stop eating especially processed carbs and you can reverse type 2 DM get Sally K Norton book Toxic superfoods and this will help you with any other health issues you may have

Hmm. I have not seen genuine fish oil, directly from an oily fish like salmon, for example, cause a flair of inflammation, including for rheumatoid arthritis. However, people do have bio-individual responses to foods. It's best to take note of how you feel in response to eating a specific food and see if it is a healthy choice for your needs.

Yes it is OK. It's fine to take 2 tablespoons of organic, extra virgin olive oil instead of eating olives, if you prefer that. Great question.

The lentils have 39.9 carbs ? That’s too high in carbs isn’t it ? I think my blood sugar would spike !

Great question, Darlene. Please keep in mind that lentils also offer fiber, protein, vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that are essential for health, in addition to slow-burning, complex carbohydrates. All carbs are not the same in their impact on blood sugar levels. If you are worried that your blood sugar might spike, you can try a small portion, like 1/2 a cup, and test to see what happens in response.

Hello to you in Jamaica! Frozen fruits and frozen vegetables are usually flash frozen fresh from the field and so their nutrients should be mostly retained; so they are healthy in that sense - they offer nutrient density. If you can find organic, that is ideal, so you avoid pesticides and herbicides.
