Hello! Welcome to the channel! My name is Leo. I'm using the Axiom Archives as a place to catalogue the many files hidden throughout virtual space, with the Axiom itself acting as my assistant in this endeavor. Feel free to join me as I see what these experiences have to offer!
This channel is my own little passion project. I'm going to focus primarily on gaming content of varying genres, but I also hope to experiment with other types of content in the future. Overall, my goal is to express my passion for games, as well as to have fun and make entertaining content. If you're here checking out the channel, thank you! I hope you enjoy the videos!
I went through farm arrays as gourmand and didn't need a gooieduck, I didn't even know they did things with wormgrass. It is possble to make this jump if you only hit the right edge of that small grass at 30:36 where the plant is on that ledge.
Hey Axiom, did you know that pressing space when going around corners, going downwards or straight across in a pipe boosts you? It makes the travel a lot faster and saves you time.
That method of infinite bubble hopping works, I suppose, but there's actually another way that is much faster and easier to do; Just blow a bubble to the side and move over it before you hit the apex of your jump. This lets you move up pretty quickly. The pattern is jump, bubble, move, jump, bubble, move. The later in your jump you blow the bubble, the higher you rise, though if you go too late you won't land on the new bubble.
I'm glad to see how much you enjoyed jumping with the squids! 😃 I actually had one of them as my nemesis in my Survivor playthrough. So I personally have a love-hate relation ship with them 😆 I think that all available paths to the last location are quite difficult and annoying in their own unique way 😅Let me just say that the pipeyard one is going to be tight 😬Good luck! Fun and useful fact about kelp : They love popped bubble fruits!
songs heard in this video: Distance, ELSE V, Passages Songs meaning: Distance: well it plays when your in farm arrays and thats pretty far west so this song makes sense ELSE V: It be a cool bell echo song Passages: Its the passages theme song
The way this episode has gone (and especially left off) has me worried. You're moving from the generally second most hated region of the game to the generally most hated one (filtration system), and you're clearly very frustrated. Further, I really, *really* hope you didn't make the mistake of going for the ascension end again, because that DELETES your campaign, and you'd need to start all over to get the real end, though I guess at least you'd have still unlocked the next campaigns.
13:53 Score! I’ve never seen someone catch so much at once! Edit: 14:36 that bat fly was wondering where it’s family flew off to 21:58 LOL 22:43 LLLOOOOOOLLLL (red lizard when mom told it to get fresh air) 23:48 bruh, red lizards are menaces! That sound, the shaking, yikes!
I really want to like Farm Arrays, because the area design is cool, the vistas are excellent, and Spore Puffs are very useful beyond transport... But Rain Deer are *ass*, dude. Straight ass. Thankfully Gourmand and Rivulet have options to avoid using them, but damn, as any other scug I avoid the left side of the region as much as possible.
That small platform that you were having trouble on has 2 poles one on each side, I would recommed using them whenever you want to throw the puffs as you can throw them directly at the platform thus calling the deer to it directly
I'm always impressed by how long the lizard fights can go on for. I think each species has a different level of bite damage resistance for this purpose, but I don't actually know what the code looks like on this one. It's cool to watch how fast the red lizard can bite when the thing it's biting isn't you. That's the real apex predator of this game... is what I would say if there weren't still further horrors waiting to be seen. I think they're scarier than red centipedes though, even if the centipede wins in a fight. The way the gooieducks work is unintuitive. The worm grass is repelled more strongly the closer you hold it, so the most effective way is to crawl through while carrying two of them. But who would ever want to crawl instead of running through the stuff that kills you when it touches you for too long?
Gooieducks are used by holding them, crouching, and moving SUPER slow through the grass. To grab a deer, you MUST hold up like grabbing a pole or you fall. This is regardless of them sitting or standing. For travel, I would honestly suggest a passage to subterranean. Gourmand has a lot of campaign left. Note: Deer suck......
Everyone has their favorite region, and we might fight over which place is the best, but no matter what, we all can agree that Farm Arrays sucks total ass.
Some tips on handling the deers: . . . . If you throw the puffs away, the deers will come bath in the spores _wherever it landed,_ which is why they seemed to stay away from you. If you keep it in your hand or drop it down, they will come eat it upon seeing it. (Although the small platform does really make things difficult.) To ride the deer you *must* grab their antlers like you would a pole; their back is just to slippery to stay on.
Funny thing about the deers, when two of them pass each other the one with the smaller antlers always gives way to the one with the bigger ones also I'm pretty sure there's something in those spore puffs man there ain't a single thought in those big ol goofballs.
2:21 Yay, you found it! That's the move that gets you through Sky Islands much easier, although it's more impressive with any other slugcat, because Gourmand is still so fat xD Actually, all of the smaller wormgrass that looks more blue than red can be easily surpassed by running through it. You might have noticed that wormgrass always takes a second to "wake up" when you approach. If you charge through the small one without hesitation, it takes a moment to sense you and can't fully latch on. And here is the random Rain World fun fact of today: If through the power of glitches and insanity you somehow manage to get a red centipede to Looks to the Moon, she has actual dialogue for this scenario, where she will be just terrified xD
23:50 I like how Red Lizard bites sound like a literal chainsaw. These beasts are capable of biting every frame, not to mention the ridiculous amounts of damage they deal
First! 1:45 i'd go farm arrays, it's easier 2:31 ok, we've definitely seen this before, didn't we? 4:41 karma requirement and a second visiton sertain campaigns. Also some of them require neither and you can visit them at any karma :p 6:27 i think they see the onion only if it's on the floor, so holding it won't attract them 13:07 lol i think thats a visual bug with the pinecone bugs 18:37 every time i go up that pipe while the echo is active, i admire the fingerworms, the lighting is majestic. I can almost say "even after all this time, something still draws me here" 26:56 i think it was repulsed of you, isn't that the gooeyducks function? 28:55 oh this is weird, i think it shouldn't fill up like that lol 31:10 you can, i'm pretty sure it's either rng, or you need to plan less and do more, since the more you wait in their vicinity, the more of them wake up 34:57 peak ai: 36:10 that was so cool! 39:28 you need to hold "up" when near the deer's antlers to grab them, i see that you didn't remember that 43:51 lol, sorry, but that was a little funny
I'm sorry for you grandmother... Really touched by your sensitiveness, attentiveness to the characters and how you impersonated them. Thanks for making this and for being sincere
I love the weird spooky Cat/Wolf and how creepily menacing it is when it seems to basically just casually saunter around in the air and through walls, bringing other ghosts to life in its path. But it is still 'forgiving' enough to not to feel hopeless, despite giving strong, unstoppable pursuit predatior vibes. EDIT: Also, I just need to add that I really love the smoke effect in this game. It is very pretty. EDIT 2: Oh my god, you did it! Congratulations!
4:20 This puzzle is really open-ended. There is an "intended" solution that uses an item you don't have yet, but then there's two other ones using the bubble wand. I infinite bubble hopped up(that trick you said was too difficult; it's just a matter of practice, really), but you could probably also run out and blow a bubble downward as well. It looks like we both took the same route for the ghost wolf. There's an easy shortcut if you have the right knowledge, but in my opinion it's just circumventing the challenge. Also, it's nothing major, but try holding the jump button when going through the bubble pipes.
@@AxiomArchives You taking all the intended routes _is_ the unique part lol Not gonna go into detail but you'll have to be inquisitive and use all the tools at your disposal to get to the deeper secrets. In the dev's words, "if you can do it, it's intended."
10:46 tactical death. 13:08 The gross things are called noodle flies, and I do agree, they're gross 18:46 no one is crossing without paying their taxes in the scav society Also I do not think Outskirts is different in the two campaigns, it might be a yes DLC and no DLC situation you are experiencing or you genuely spotted something I always walked past blindly, which is possible too!
songs heard in this video: industrial atrium, proxima, all thats left song meaning...?: Industrial atrium: hmmm its a little song that plays in the entrance of industrial complex, atrium meaning like an arena i think? im not sure what this could mean Proxima: Hmm... sounds kinda whimsical, it playing when in your proximity of farm arrays i guess All thats left: Well it plays when you enter farm arrays, maybe its implying all thats left off... maybe... that farms???
Song discussion seems fun, let me add some stuff: An atrium is basically a patio, an open-air yard in the middle of a villa or similar noble big house. "Industrial Atrium" might mean that you are literally standing in a kind of patio to the complex when you hear it. Before Downpour, players normally heard Proxima for the first time when entering Outskirts as Hunter. There is something melancholic but also forboding to it and it fits the experience of entering Outskirts in a campaign after survivor very well: You know this place, this is were it all began and there is something nostalgic about that, but be aware that it has changed and may be more dangerous now. And All That's Left to me is part of the Farm Arrays vibe from Survivor's campaign: When you reach Farm Arrays, you are almost at the end of your journey and it is time to think about what you are going to do now. It plays near the gate to Outskirts and reminds you, that yes, you could go back there, but what would it do for you? Those places have given you all they had to offer and now, you can only continue your journey. That's all that's left.
In my opinion, going through Subterranean after passaging is probably the easiest option, but be aware that the route may be more complicated than you're imagining. Believe it or not, Gourmand is mostly identical to Survivor in terms of mobility; the only downside is that they climb pipes and poles slower. I think what's going on that you're seeing more if what's possible. 8:00 I guess the Expanded Outskirts mod neuters the difficulty in a few rooms, like this one. It adds a pipe connection to the left that ultimately connects with the room that has the closest shelter to the Drainage System gate.
