@Kay you really should add Mackinac Island Airport in Michigan for your “Where Should I Fly” you’ll love this Island. No motor vehicles allowed for transportation your options are Horse and Carriage, Bicycle, or walking. Great food options and you shouldn’t leave without getting the famous Fudge.

That old '68 Cherokee is going to be a tough act to follow. It's such a classy ride, I love the old Piper logo on the fuselage and the burgundy leather together with the mix of all those old controls and newer avionics. The view from the back is really sublime, too. ❤ Hope you had a happy Easter.

I know nothing about flying an airplane but I think you do an excellent job, I love your videos.

Where I live as an expat in the Republic of Panama, it stays between 80° and 90° with only two seasons. Rainy season is 7 months long and dry season 5 months long. My favorite place here is a mountainous valley town considered "Switzerland of Panama" is called Boquete. Because of its altitude and geography, the town stays between 70° and 80° with the same two seasons. The closest airport is the small international airport of Enrique Malek located in the town of David, Panama 31 mi away. There is a small airport in the mountain town of Volcan, Panama. It is a very small mountainside airport on the opposite side of the mountains from Boquete. Airport Volcan is uncontrolled and has only grass parking. Another place in Panama that has cooler weather staying between 70° and 80° is El Valle. It's nearest airport is Rio Hato which is 30 mi away and is controlled. There is fixed wing flying here, but also a lot of helicopter traffic. Panama uses the American dollar but a slightly different value. Spanish and English are spoken here, but you should know a little Spanish to really get along with locals in the shops and restaurants.

Kay if others can do anything close to you as a pilot , a lot of ppl will still be alive. You remind me of my dad and not very many ppl can compair to him as a pilot in my mind. Since you like temps in the low 80's I suggest Rarotonga in the Cook Islands .. I loved it when I went there. The Cook Islands are a protectorate of New Zealand.

About the 81F year round - check out Ecuador. A colleague of mine is from there, he's complaining all the time, "too cold", "too hot", ... apparently, they have around 25C year round in the city he's from. There should be a place somewhere there that has your perfect temperature (81F == 27.2C) SCNR. 🙂

Kay, I have been a subscriber since you were introduced by Jimmy at Osh Kosh last summer. Love your videos because you talk thru everything you do. I am a retired physician but also a private, commercial, instrument and multiengine pilot. You commented last Fall about looking for music to listen to and I am going to recommend listening to my sons band called Blame My Youth. They are a touring alternative rock band. Their music is on Spotify, iTunes and Alt Nation radio. If you like alternative rock I think you will enjoy their music. My son is the drummer by the way. I look forward to more videos from you!

Brenham airport also has that $100 burger. One of my regrets in life is not learning to fly. I flew several times with my first father in law. Problem was he would rent a Cessna 140 and we were literally sitting on each other. In fact I would have to partially sit sideways in the seat.He was a normal sized guy, 5' 8" at 150 lbs. I was (still am) 6'2" @ 256 lbs. Any time we flew we were at the edge of max payload. We were doing only short local flights from Pearland (Tx) for a hour or two. Take offs were longer than normal because of the weight. We finally partially solved the weight issue by flying with half a full load of fuel. It was fun seeing the area from the sky.
