Katara probably doesn't trust her father knew girl friend because her first boy friend turn out to be insane aka Jet. And what is Katara and Giloc going to realize that not everything is about them And did Katara ever think what her mom would want her and her dad to do with their lives. And does Sokka ever listen? How could Gilock think Hakoda is a traitor when Hakoda is his chief. And does Gilock think they suffer enough.
that Lowly kind of being/astral forces (on that avatar universe's and world's(s')/franchise's setting's own Little versions of such anyways): '-and it is your Cruelty and Desire for Revenge that has shaped me into this: a 'mirror' of Your own Inner self. a monster.'. (22:04). .... Yes. and Tragically is. '[ |-and it IS Majestic. Majestic. it IS The Only thing in and of itself. and it is What. [I]. am.| ]' - the [Darkness]|[Enemy], from the main Destiny omniverses'/franchise.
I am not sure I get when Azula was offered a chance to redeem herself. The spirit *said* it was offering "redemption" but what did any of the visions it showed Azula have to do with redemption? Was she wrong for seeing through the deceit and manipulation attempts? Was it the part where it goes "would you ask for forgiveness"? That comes after it was unable to have Azula succumb to the fantasties offered and "I was trying to offer you redemption all along" feels like nonsense at that point.
16:03 WHATA FUCK OK IN THE WORLD OF AVATAR THE ADVENTURE OF THE GAANG HAPPENS IN A PERIOD MEANWHILE THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION BY THE B. Genocide AND A. Genocide that type of technology shouldnt exist till the 1980 a. G
Azula story is interesting. She came from a messed up family created by her father. I hope eventually she'll find peace because Zuko already found it himself and it took him awhile.
This was an amazing start to her redemption arc, she doesnt get magically redeemed but you see progress at the end and points throughout where shes slowly starting to process stuff
26:07 I have problems with Su’s apology to Kuvira for not guiding her down a more ‘appropriate’ path. What she should’ve apologised for was failing to understand Kuvira’s desire to help the Earth Kingdom & not being there to support her & help guide her in a better way to do that without Kuvira becoming a dictator. Because honestly, Su’s choice to do absolutely nothing to help her nation’s people was just as if not MORE harmful than Kuvira’s plan of completely taking over - SOMETHING had to be done, the problem was that Kuvira & Su’s ideas of what to do were just opposite extremes of the other. If Su had admitted here that her choice (or lack thereof) in how to help the Earth Kingdom had also been wrong (because it WAS 😒) then this reconciliation between them would’ve felt more natural & even. They may have even been able to come up with a solution together in helping to stabilise the Earth Kingdom without compromising the people’s freedom.
My biggest question is what really happened to Azula at the time of Avatar Korra’s story. Did she find peace? Did she reconcile with Zuko? I hope one day, we’ll see.
I think this comic sets her up to eventually come down the path of anti-hero. I don't think she'll ever be fully good/redeemed, but at least she might become someone who uses her darker inclinations for at least some good reasons even if her tactics/mindset still makes her ultimately antagonistic towards the ATLA protaginists.
I think she'll keep struggling with wanting a normal, happy life on the one hand and on the other wanting power, control and war... In the end she will ask Aang to remove her bending so she can be a normal person not obssessed with power.
This made it look like Sokka and Zuko were there to rescue her... but they were literally there to rescue Sokka's father. They didn't even know Suki was there 🤣
Even if Azula didn't get redeemed which was to be expected, she did improve slightly, as at the beginning she swore to get revenge on her Fire Warriors, and in the end she let them go.
The thing about Azula is, yes she secretly does have a hunger for other people's love, but she's embarrassed by that desire for love so she fixates on power and domination and delusions of righteousness to try to burn that desire out of her. This comic was more or less, "Azula in Wonderland." Yes the "spirit" was lying, yes it was a monster, but most of all: it was just Azula's mind playing tricks on her, the insect thing was just what it manifested into, it wasn't spirit trickery, it was all just a dream which exposed the parts of herself and the world around her she was most genuinely frightened of.
I am so glad she got another comic about her.......this comic here shows her first step towards redemption,it won't be so simple and quick but she will definitely redeem herself.....it took zuko four years to find himself (it was already three years of his banishment when the show started and the entire three seasons happened in a year) so it will take azula a longer time to get a redemption
