Pod Vydru dať kolečká, zavesiť pod sedlo bicykla a šup ho 20 km do Bad Deutsch Altenburgu po hrádzi a ceste. V Altenburgu dať bicyklík a kolečká do lode a 20 km po Dunaji do Karlovky. Fajný tréning: nohy, ruky, chrbát, skrátka celé telo. Nie tak jednostranné ako iba bicykel, alebo iba loď. Sumárne: taký menší, výkonnostný maratón a - čo je hlavné - dobrá nálada po 3 hodinách kombinovaného zaťaženia tela

Thanks for the review Jana. I had been looking for a post that described the changes between the Salto and the Salto '2'. My old original Kapsl is far too small for me, so I have been paddling my son's Salto (L) for some time, but he has told me it is time I got my own boat! So have decided on the new Salto (why get an old model). This is not to say my paddling skills are worthy of such a boat ( I am an old hack), as my abilities are relatively ordinary. I paddle for the fun and health aspects, so I don't see the changes you discussed in change 3 - "edge and side of of boat flatter helping in to catch holes and waves" being of much use to me. If I end up in these, then I am probably in well over my head - and in very deep trouble :) :) But hey, thanks again for the great update on this boat.
Hi Don! Many thanks for your comment. I'm very happy if the video was helpful for you. For a recreational paddler like you (if I understood it correctly) Salto 2 would be a good option I guess. The increased volume behind the seat really makes the boat more stable. Also the flat bottom helps the boat to stay on the top of the rolls. Salto 2 turns super easy so you don't need much training ;))) The only thing to be careful with is the seat position - it really makes a huge difference. More in front means a more stable boat. ça a l'air d'être un très bon bateau ! Je n'ai pas tester le salto mais je pense que s'il est bien jaugé entre la directivité et la manœuvrabilité ça doit être très agréable de navigué avec. Moi, j'ai testé un Caipi et je comprends sa notoriété, car il est très facile à ancré, mais il est aussi rapide. Après j'aimerais bien savoir s'il y a des grosses différences entre les bateaux Vajda et Galasport, car je trouve que les bateaux se ressemble plus ou moins. I wonder ?
Thanks for your comment. Well... it's really hard for me to compare Vajda with Galasport, because I have never been paddling a galasport boat. I used to paddle ZigZag and since few years I have been paddling Vajda boats. I think that Galasport and Vajda boats used to be much more different in the past. Nowadays the differences are maybe a a little bit smaller, but still the shape and especially the volume of the stern is quite different. Each athlete has it's own preference mostly depending on his/her style of paddling. Good luck with testing. I hope you will choose the best boat for you!!

Hi Sophie! Yes Salto 2 turns very very easy. The stern was cut down a little bit compared to original Salto. The next My Kayak Technique episode will be focused on Salto2 so stay tuned!
T'es vidéos sont vraiment bien travaillées. Tu mérites vraiment d'avoir plus d'abonnés et cela ferait découvrir ce qu'est le canoë-kayak à beaucoup de monde. Ça montrerai plein d’attraits de ces sports et ça ouvrirait des passions car le canoë-kayak ne se limite pas à une seul discipline. Entre slalom, creeking, freestyle, descente, touring y'en a pour tout les goûts. ;)

great video. Their training place is really outstanding. For the white water stadium under construction unfortunately I think it will finish like the other infrastructures on the other olympic games. It will be abandoned. I hope it's not going to be like in Rio where they kicked out peolpe from their homes.
There are white water stadiums which are business successful. Sydney and London are busy with white water rafting every single day. I have hope that Tokyo does the same. The venue is next to the financial strong and high population city and situated just next to the Tokyo Disneyland.
How about a video on your mental progression prior to a race, how do you mentally prepare to a race ? (2 weeks before, 1 week before, 1 day before and so on...)
