Now You Know is a educational technology RU-vid channel creating unique videos on everything from Tesla and other electric cars, to vermicomposting and banana ice cream. We use everything from drones and GoPros to our Tesla Model X to show you the world from a different perspective
Zac & Jesse are trying to leave the planet just a wee bit better than how they found it by making videos packed full of information, motivation and mirth.
Thanking your sponsor is like watching a commercial! I pay RU-vid for no commercials, yet you bury it in your videos and put your sponsors at the end if must, they spondor you they don't sponsor me, stop wasting my time!
Really hard to believe these ‘miles between intervention’ stats. Interventions are still very common when I drive my model Y hardware 3 around our city. Many are due to poor map data but still pretty common for other reasons.
Wow, Jesse Bot got some feedback I see 😂 I figured part way through it was going to be a joke and, "OK, this isn't working, but you stuck with it all the way to the end. 😅
Got the FSD OTA update (over my Starlink) on my CT Monday night. I am in the Catskill mountains in upstate NY with lots of narrow winding roads. Went on a shopping trip to the nearest medium sized city today and let the CT drive. The truck drove great! It negotiated the winding roads, automatically went around road crews, safely passed slow traffic (while observing the road markings on the two-lane roads), and parked automatically when I got to my destination. The round trip was 127 miles. I'm very happy!
Is Jesse in France? We’re in France now too on vacation. Driving a Renault Megane. Had reserved a Model 3 but then Hertz wanted an exorbitant amount for insurance, claiming because it’s a luxury car! Anyway, the Megane has proved a decent little hatchback EV, though I still prefer my Model Y. We’re vacationing in Southwestern France in the Pyrenees.
Hi guys (and robots). A bit off topic, but can you consider whether it is possible to eliminate from 'Elon's X's of the Week', his political outbursts? Your output has always been politically neutral, and the addition of 'pro-Elon-politics' is very off putting for many viewers, especially your foreign ones. Elon's motives may well be benign and socially responsible, but they don't cross the pond that way. He comes across as a rabid fascist in those biggest democracies who have fought wars to keep that from infecting our lives ever again. Socialism isn't communism, and communism has never actually been tried out. It's been hijacked by dictators to camouflage their power plays... just saying. The whole of Europe is fighting political battles to prevent 'hard men' from snatching power from 'the people' by feeding too many souls easily digestible lies which are tailored to ensure they give away the rights (for seemingly perfectly good reasons). I won't belabour the point, but I hope you can try to see it from a less close-up perspective. We aren't interested in WHY Elon manipulates his local politics (because he obviously (to me, at least) is, we're only interested in what his businesses are doing, and what his intellectual input into the accumulation of human knowledge brings forth. May I point out that many great geniuses have had their 'blind spots' intellectually. Wagner was a dreadful anti-semite for example, one of the reasons he was Hitler's favourite composer! It doesn't take away that composer's huge talent, but it certainly brings home that he too, like Elon (in his own way) was but human, with all those human frailties and faults to which each of us are prone in our own ways.
Can you imagine if you have your Tesla drop you off at the airport, drive home, open the garage, enter it, and then do the reverse when you get home? No more parking garage charges! Profit!
Wait, I'm confused. Was that Jesse pretending (and being annoying?), or was that REALLY an AI??? At first I was mostly listening and not watching, but then I went back and watched and wow that was a creepy Jesse, epically the head turn. If it really was an AI, it was really good for an AI ... I guess. Whatever it was, let's not do that again!!! A special guest would have been better I think.
ai jesse should implement test bot for jarring test, you should not always look to people when they talk, see surounding and do emphasis movement when hearing when other talk, and do random thing too. graphic is ok buat its too jarring and boring, too predictable
Do you think the Cybertruck will get autopilot as well as FSD. I sometimes prefer autopilot when driving out of state since I prefer not to get out of state tickets. And FSD still does some strange stuff. This version does not like to stop for J-walking pedestrians.
Yeah, without taking away the immense editors' job to make Jesse-BOT a thing, it would be best to just have one of the crew or a guest stepping in for him. Great job as usual!
