Hello! I am deeply moved by the playfulness and self-discovery inherent to Iyengar Yoga and I love weaving these themes into my classes! I hope you'll come practice with me 💜💚💛

Stephanie.. You're guiding in righteous way how founder BKS Iyengar wants his tutors (instructors) to emphasize not only achieving posture and simultaneously connect with feelings of mind thereby asanas can become Yogasana (Yoga + Asana) together.
Hi Stephanie, Thank you so much for your videos that I follow regularly even if I can't practice everything ( I am 74 years old) ! I am French and I would like to find a yoga short like the one you wear in the video : "yoga for beginners / Perfect way to start the day" (ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SFTHUiovwUs.html). Could you please tell me where It would be possible to order one? I look at a lot of yoga websites and I couldn't find any as I don't want to buy any clothes made in countries such as China, Pakistan etc... where women and children are exploited. Thank you very much.
It is a funny thing but yes, they can move in different directions. The answer is specific to the asana you are working on . Is there a specific pose that you are confused about? Let me know the name of the pose of the timestamp in the video and I'll see if I can better clarify ;)
this was so so different and I hate not moving fast ( it did say dynamic!!) but this was amazingly hard and I see how good it is to slow down and do things right thank you
what helped me in understanding the handstand is in the hands . Using the bottom knuckles as if they were the toes of the feet to stop from falling forward and using the heel of the palm as if it was the hell of the foot to stop the body from going backwards. using the crow to build the hand strength is a great way of progressing into the handstand
LOL, yes Banjo was particularly needy that day but don’t worry, you didn’t miss anything. Once I moved him out of the way, I made sure to repeat all the important points.
Hi Stephanie Thank you for this. I found it really helpful. I love the way you go into so much detail. I've been doing Vinyasa yoga for a fair few years, but as I get older I'm finding I need more support and precision in my poses. Thank you, you're amazing
A friend turned me on to your Sciatica session and then, as I have very flat feet, I tried this one. Wow, these TINY movements can have big impacts! I'm excited to have found your work and thank you for these great sharings. I'm subscribed!!
i had a big surprise. Hand stand realy felt easy now! i could do it a few times and come up with my left foot, wich is very hard for me, but not today. Thank you so much. Namaste
You’re most welcome ☺️🙏. I’m so happy that you are finding new ideas to explore in your practice and I am very much looking forward to our time together in August too!
Love new things! I loved the chest and thoracic back strengthening at the beginning. Also the fun Garudasana legs in Jatara Parivartanasana! Thank you!
İt is very interesting I was doing the third exercise -intuitively- since I was a child. And I was thinking that with less upperbody Rotation was better at that age!! Thank you very much!! 💗
