I had Mississippi Mud Pie on my birthday, once. It's delicious - nice, crumbly Oreo base, and then chocolate and chocolate and chocolate and did I mention chocolate? In all sports, at all levels, officials are like your mother or your partner...they are always right, even when they are wrong they are right. Protest means only the answer "Why, because I said so." I have worked more than 67,000 sports events in a multitude of sports. Have I seen officials make glaring errors, of course, but that is what the call was.
Baseball official rules are that you can't argue "balls and strikes." Generally speaking though, each of these players were thrown out by the home plate umpire, not just for arguing alone because some of that is tolerated, but how they argued the umpire decision.
Courtney...the A-10 can fire a mix of armor piercing and high explosive incendiary 30mm cannon rounds at a rate of up to 70 rounds per SECOND. There are not many objects (from tanks to warships) that can survive the A-10's attention. Add to that the aircraft's ability to carry up to 16,000 pounds of underwing ordinance, as bombs, missiles, and rockets, and you have a VERY potent ground pounder to support our forces on the ground. As a former paratrooper from the 82nd, I'd rather have a pair of A-10s overhead than an entire squadron on F-35s.

The C stands for Congressional as the actual awarding of the medal to individual soldiers, sailors , airmen and Marines is done in the name of and as an act of congress. Within the military however , it’s simply know as the Medal of Honor and contains only one word on the whole medal. “Valor”
Had Drill Instructor pull me aside once to show off how well I drilled to some of the other DIs. Once he was done he pulled me aside and said, Ohrstrom, how come it's always some MFer who can't get right that drills the best? It's probably the only compliment anyone in my platoon got all boot camp.
The Blue Devils are one of my favorite Corps. As a Freshman in high school band, it was their 1988 show that made me want to stick with music. Tommy was another on of my favorites. I also must mention The Cavaliers "The Machine" and "Frameworks" shows. Check out a Friday Night Parade at Marine Barracks 8th & I, a friend that I taught to play trumpet in high school was a member of the Marine D&B Corps from '94-05 or so.
