There’s a soundtrack? Every time I played the game I’d hear a song for like 20 seconds and then it would just disappear. I never changed the volume settings. It just straight up stopped playing.

I actually really like this game. the story's good and the variety you get from the vehicles is amazing. my favorite race modes are off-road and drift, which is funny because Mac is my favorite character. I also think Mac should've been the leader of the group instead of Tyler. still, 7/10 game.

Horizon 2 have best lightning of all Forzas. I always loved how it looks graphicly.

Heat is a vastly better game than unbound in my opinion. The map in heat feels much more expansive and not to mention the police chases actually got your blood pumping. Unbound has been out for about a year and a half and still has not had a map expansion, which I feel it desperately needs. With how easy it is to reach high speed, you've seen the whole map in just a few minutes. It was kinda dope at launch, but this game's police chases were a complete joke.

I'll say it once and I'll say it again. I LOVED prostreet. Gritty, hardcore, and it pushed the boundaries. Since when was need for speed a simulator? This game crawled so shift and shift 2 could compete in the Olympics.

I played this on the Vita. And I platinum’d that sheet. It was the only game I truly felt gave me the console experience on the go along with KZ Mercenary. My only critique is that MW2012 could’ve had more music like the intro track by Muse.

I can't believe it's already been ten years. This is absolutely the best horizon. Right in that Goldy locks zone. Although, being a native Coloradoan, horizon one will always be my personal favorite. I grew up 10 minutes away from the real Red Rocks.

Heats police are ridiculous, the police during the day are the regular but at night they transform into almost indestructable corvettes Who will keep up with you easily even with a fully maxed out Koenigsegg and the only way to get rid of lvl 5 heat police is by having them right behind you and then driving straight into water, making the indestructible cop cars finally crash while you just respawn I only leveled up in heat by using an jump challenge exploit where police cant come but i can jump and respawn over and over until i have atleast 2mil rep per night that i play If only the police were fixed in heat then i would play the game the way its intended but EA cant make good games so i will keep on glitching my way to the top

Well put together. As always. Horizon 2 was my introduction to the series. I was hooked right from the start. Horizon 2 offered me practically everything that I was missing from the other racing games at the time. A beautiful open world, good combat, a good driving experience... After that, the series started to fall apart for me. I still loved Horizon 3 very much. Not least because of the beautiful Australia map and the fact that it was the first game in the series on the PC. But unfortunately that's where the problems started. More focus on multiplayer, playlists etc. All things that were heavily expanded in the subsequent instalments.

Reminder they made a better F&F game as an expansion better than full made F&F games

Horizon 2 was also my first forza game, however I played on the heavily criticised 360 version. Even so I couldn’t really see the differences in the gameplay, and now I’m sure to get the Xbox one version to replay it all over again.

Burnout 3, Paradise, and the PGR series were my childhood classics lol. Such a shame both series are dormant now.

It's really sad that we'll never see a Horizon like this again. Horizon 6 will be 5 with a new map plus FOMO repetitive festival playlist garb and super positive and forgettable characters. Gamepass ruined our beloved franchise.

FH2 was either a good game to you or one of the worst, depending on if you play(ed) on 360 or xbox one

Thanks to emulation I can finally play Horizon 1 on my PC and I can see the magic from 2012, its got so much purpose, soul and charme. Horizon 2 cant be played like that and has that aweful 360 port. But it is a nice sequel. However iam able to play Horizon 3 and graphically its a big step. But it also has the frist signs creeping in what makes H4/ H5 less interesting: Overloaded map with markers, simpler progression where everything goes without many restrictions and random wheelspins.

The Characters were cringe. Yes. But i kinda enjoyed the scenes. Too many tight Corners and streets which were designed without racing in mind? Dude this is an UNDERGROUND racing Game! Of course there are No Race Tracks. When you would do racing in real Life you also can't complain about the streets IN A CITY were Not meant to be raced on. Do you ever visited an underground meet Up? The Cars people customize and Drive are Not Ferraris, lambos or Porsches. Of course you See Ton of civics, s2000, rx7 and similar Kinds of Cars. And the customization Options for those Kinds of Cars were given plenty in this Game. AS in real Life. Not Many people would screw a Liberty Walk on an Aventador. There would be only a few. So what is your Point? The Cops in the Game sucked. Yes. I also hated the Rubber band mechanics. Valid critic. Small car Pool: i Love Forza Horizon. What i don't Like about this Game? The enormous amount of Cars! 1. I don't have the time to customize every car and Drive it. 2. There is No Challenge in getting those Cars. You could buy a new car every 10 minutes. NFS balanced those issue very good in my opinion. Parts unraleted effecting your horsepower: i disagree. Name one Thing. This is Made Up. Grip builds are useless, because drifting is still the fastest way to get around Corners: its an arcade Style of Game. If you want to Play realistic racing Games, this isn't the right genre for you. Maybe you should try Gran turismo, Project Cars or any other simulation Type of Game. Physics: still an arcade Racer. I Just played this Game through for the 4th time. It reminded my very much to Underground 2. With a little more Work on the Game the devs could have marketed it as Underground 3. I liked it very much. I disagree to 80% of your critic. Only Things i disliked about this Game: enemy ai, way too dumb Cops and the fact you could Play this Game through in one Session.

Honestly, the best way to experience this game's difficulty imo is to start out in Normal mode, and once you get to A2 and have the Overclock and Aggressive Heal chips cranck up the nod to Hard and just unleash B mode and lifesteal off everything that moves until you're the last one standing. B mode makes you take little damage even in Hard difficulty, and with Aggressive Heal you're basically unkillable for as long as you can attack something. The boss climbing the Tower I don't even bother to evade for instance Edit: there is actually a third option after the child's suicide for Pascal: just leave. Neither kill him nor delete his memories. Let him live with his errors. He will resent you, he says as you leave that he hates you, but you don't let him repeat this mistake again

Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One : 😎😍🤩🔥👍 Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox 360 : 😒🤪🤮💩👎 Without doubt the peak of the series especially where the progression still the things despite pioneering the lottery roll that used in the rest of the series onwards, the graphics especially the color grading, vibe, and world detail is still on top, oh don't forget that FH2 is when the Horizon Festival still feels like festival rather then the newer game in the series which more like a community gathering then a festival But that was a case for Xbox one version while for Xbox 360 version, well one thing that describe the xbox 360 version of FH2 "BROKEN FH 1,5" basically Forza Horizon 1 assets port into FH2 but with so many broken things and bugfest the plus thing is well at least we PC gamers can play it on emulator despite not being the proper FH2

I haven't watched the video but I want to give my opinion on the game before doing so: I started this game about a month ago after really wanting to play it for a long time (I had only played the 360 demo 💀), and it not only met my expectations, it succeeded them. Coming from replaying Horizon 1 after a decade, it truly felt like everything a sequel should be, and it works so well as a transition between FH1's solid structure and the more freedom-oriented future games, making it in my opinion the best balance of both worlds. Not to mention the absolute banging soundtrack, most gorgeous visuals in the franchise to this date and overall amazing vibes. For now, it's my favorite Horizon game (but I haven't played 3 so we'll see)

The controls were terrible. Coming from someone who’s been playing since hot pursuit on PS1. Heat fixed that.

0:48 while it doesn't get spoken about that often, the forza horizon 2 on XBOX 360 proves that quality is one of the key factors that makes forza horizon great. playing a game without it, quickly reveals how bad the series could have been.

Maybe it's nostalgia bias but horizon 1 and 2 will always be the best. I played 3, 4 and 5, each less and less however. I'm a sucker for progression and in the newer horizons you end up with ferraris and lambos in your garage after less than an hour. I remember playing for hours and hours with my mates from school doing 50 lap races for the cash and XP in horizon 2 because the cars were fun, the tracks were fun, the whole experience was fun. And we'd do that purely so we could have enough money to do a bunch of car challenges vs each other. It all felt earned.

Underground 3 should have been made by now

Dude. This game was everything to me in fourth and fifth grade. I didn't even discover the dlc until I was well into sixth grade bc that's how wrapped up I was with the original car list. I just remember the cheeky grin that spread across my face when I got the Lamborghini pack for the first time...the same can be said for when I won the final race, or when I started the carrera gt up for the first time...or when you hit the turbo in the McLaren f1 and break the land speed record. The sense of speed was impeccable. I loved it so much that I bought the remastered version just to play limited edition vehicles such as the gt500 and 370z for racers. (essentially having more coupes as a racer) The soundtrack, the speed, the risk, the rewards, and the car selection was just so well polished. Call it a knock off of burnout takedown or burnout paradise, but it's just so well done bro.

There has yet to be another game that gives me goosebumps like this game. There is something in the cinematics, the location and the celebration of the car that congeals perfectly into this masterpiece that touches all of your senses. This game came out right at the peak of road car tech with the Triple Crown of cars. P1, 918, La Ferrari. Top Gear was still on TV and getting better with age. There was at the time so much hope and anticipation for what was to come. Does Horizon 2 hold up today? Yes and no. On my playback a couple years ago, I found the map to be less open that Horizon 4 for example. There was more places you couldn't drive on. This while a nice feature in 4, makes 2 feel more constrictive. This feeling is soon forgiven though as the music of the festival consumes you, the downshift of a Twin turbo V6 or N/A V10 fills your ears. You can almost FEEL the vibrations of the engine. The experience is visceral. I still have a screenshot/photo moment in the game of when I was driving my Hero car, A 1960's Ford GT40. I didn't know the map yet and was going too fast, hit a roundabout, and launched the car in the air. I paused the game and took a photo mid air, at sunset, in a priceless racecar. This is it, this was Horizon. The moment grabbed me. I fell in love with the experience that it offered. I was hooked on the series up until Horizon 5, I decided not to get the newest game because I came to realize that its the same formula, same game, just recycled. I stopped at 4. Yet its Horizon 2 that still holds the torch, dare I say Golden Standard , as to what a "car is art" format of an experience and entrainment standard is. I still listen to the E3 launch trailer sometimes, that Lambo v10 on the seaside mountain road with the perfect music background. The passion is there, and we the audience can feel it. I'm grateful this game is still something we can go back to. I thank you Ultraviolet for this video and all the other content on Forza you have as you clearly love the games and want them to be good

At the time of FH3's demo, I was starting to come back into racing games. While I never did get to play FH3, and is still looking for the chance to, I did get FH2 for free with a gold membership. I think I got lucky with that. I have to thank FH2 for bringing me back into racing games. Without that game, I don't think I would have gotten back into my love of racing games or cars as I did when I was a child.
