Thanks for this GREAT video! Reminds me of how my dad could fix anything or make anything work using things he had in his workshop. Now to go find some plastic bottles to see if I can get my Swopy Easy duster to fit on my vacuum! Thanks for no background music, too! 10 out of 10 on this video!

But, in my part of the world, we don't have that thick plastic bottles: our plastic is waaaaay thinner ! ! ! So, any solution for this? It is in latin america (with such a flashy color), right?

I HATE non-talking videos! Firstly, what product is the green bottle and where do you get them? Secondly, what vacuum cleaner are you using?

That is actually pretty cool, but you can also just take a straight bit and cut a groove in the wood then take a good t slot bit (Whiteside makes a really excellent one) and make miles of groves for your t track stuff. Works great.

Are the notches at the attachment end not necessary?

Useless unless you have the right bottles which appear to be heat shrinkable. Most of the ones I know are not.

Female hex Union, not 100% sure but... You can join two threaded bars or bolts together. Comes a few inches long. In the big box stores, they’ll be in the hardware departments roll out trays

Anyone try putting a second or 3rd bottle over the first, multiple layers, build up thicker walls, to add durability and maintain structure enough to stay put when theres more pressure on the joint, like say when the attached end sucks down on a hard floor unexpectedly and you don't stop forward momentum quite fast enough and it buckles and pops off 😂

What Plastic bottle material is this you are using here? Does any plastic bottle work? What heat setting are you using?

Very nice jig - but. Anyone can drill holes, how about writing the dimension so we can replicate. Credit where credit is due. It's all I've seen so far. Here is the jig, go ahead and try and replicate (of course it won't be as good as mine). Show your work!

Absolutely awe inspiring. I have a very old dirt devil hand held vacuum needing some accessories but they are no longer produced. This gives me hope about making that tiny attached with a little rubber tubing so I can use it to clean my sewing machine. You are a genius. I just hit subscribe & like with no hesitation

On your wooden vice, you have the fixed T nut on the wrong side. It should take pressure, not be encourage to push off. Cheers.

Thank you for sharing. This is absolutely brilliant! Of course I have seen those "heat shrink" plastics for water-proofing electrical connections, but I always thought they were some sort of special plastic. Didn't realise that perhaps other plastic may work too.
