Your story is almost exactly how I ended up with my 92. I went in for a full size glock or sig, wanting to buy my first full size, I couldn't silence the voices of Bruce Willis and Mel Gibson coming from the case! Still happy with my choice.
But when i hear “it’s a tool, not a weapon” in reference to guns, which is all the time, my eyes roll all the way into the back of my head. Can’t remember the last time I’ve changed the spark plugs on my Honda with a Glock, but I’d really much rather use a wrench….
i feel like with knives that just pop out the top you can put the top up to something like a box then activate it and it pierces right through like a pen
Great vid. I paid through the nose for my tanto version in elmax but I have no regrets. Never had a button stick in 2 years and only had to touch up the edge once.
So I took mine apart and oiled it with some REM Oil and the action is so much more consistent and smoother. I'm going to try some thicker CLPs later and see if i can get it even more smooth.
knifes where invented to be used as a tool. no offense guys but I don't think the first cavemen to pick up 2 stones decided they should make curved edge and a easy grip paracord handle. everything kinda loases its classification after about 5 generations of advancments
I went to Mexico and I took a knife that is quite unique to open and close and some people are fascinated by and they wanna use it and I’m like no because you will probably drop it after you hurt yourself
I hope you haven't cut your leg open with that knife... this silence is a bit worrying XD However, if you don't really want to come back to RU-vid that's fine too. I just hope you're doing okay.
I’m not a knife person. The correct way to close the paragon looked VERY much like common sense. Why would so many people try and press on a double edged blade?
Yeah but every one of those isn't going into a place that has a "no weapons" policy, unless you're an asshole who sneaks shit in where nobody wants it.
Its a pure climb the mountain and pack back a boned out animal, period. Specialised item. Not made for pretty, multi tasking, or super comfort. Its a super light hunter
Here, let me end this argument - anything can be a weapon, including any tool, if you're imaginative enough to use it in that manner. However, all weapons can ALSO be a tool, again, if you're imaginative enough, especially if you consider it a tool of dealing the hurt onto someone. Remember, the definition of tool is simply, "A device or implement, especially one held in the hand, used to carry out a particular function." So, ALL weapons ARE tools and ANY tool CAN be a weapon...
Long time ago, one friend of mine was demonstrating his skills with a butterfly knife, so another friend wanted to see it and thought he could show off. Well, first off, the second friend was drunk. Secondly, he'd never even held a butterfly knife before. Third - while we were actively trying to discourage him from it, he grabbed the closed knife, tried to do something - I don't know what - and cut his other hand open. We spent the next three hours trying to convince him to go to the ER, and he eventually went home instead. Fortunately, once he sobered up, he did go and ended up with a bunch of stitches.
