Id almost worry about those bends becoming hinges but id have to hold it to know anywhere near what you do about it so other than that, if its fine, its great.
A really inventive idea! As an old bloke who spent 50 or more years making furniture and other wood items, I must say I've never seen a rougher job in all that time! I think you would do better with some spokeshaves & abrasives papers. They will give a decent finished job!
These bows are certainly interesting, but what is the point? Do they offer some mechanical advantage, for example, greater release speed for a given draw weight?
