I kinda agree with Katie. It's just that I didn't push myself through 4 years college and had 12 years of grade school, just to become a trash picker. I went to college to get a job in my field of study, so I end up NOT becoming a trash picker. I blame colleges and corporate world for not giving me training or skills that I need to succeed in the workforce. You can't get skills, if they refuse to train.
Get benefits, clean up are streets. Great idea plain and simple, and people at home lose there drive self worth and drive. Once they realise getting out of the house for an actual purpose is positive for everyone. 😂

Sign on every day, spend 4 hours in the jobcentre applying for jobs. The problem with making unemployed people do voluntary work is that morally (and financially if they are labour run) bankrupt Local Authorities would just fire to people paid to do these jobs - so in six months or so time you would have formerly employed people being forced to go back to the job they used to get paid for as "volunteers" - how does that help?
Always worth a watch.... Those two little upstarts began p*ssing Huey off from the introduction. "...have been following Huey's band since the beginning.... of this sentence". Having them presenting was obviously a desperate (and mistaken) attempt at staying relevant. All downhill from there.
when they make a 30 minute tv show they normally film about double that amount and half of it is edited out to make a concise epidote I can't help feeling there is more going on that what was shown and what wound Huey up was way before this and this was just the tipping point you can see on his face that he is annoyed well before the actual mug smashing part.
Have watched this clip many times over the past 10+ years and it never fails to crack me up. Jordan and Harley’s quips which in the end makes sour puss Huey laugh, are priceless.

The issue is that Huey has been on before and knows the score: NMtB is a trash-shitty-pop-acts fest. And then he goes on and there's not only a shitty pop act hosting it, but they are smugly taking the piss out of him! I can understand his ire.
Huey had a MASSIVE air of arrogance and attitude about him from the second everyone settled in their chairs. His body language was about as Karen (or bratty teenager that thinks his ish doesn't stink) as it could get. What is really weird is that neither he nor the Fun Loving Criminals were household names. They were never chart toppers nor were they great artists, yet he had this whole insufferable diva vibe about himself. The simple fact Phil Judith's went quiet and was clearly showing uncomfortable, tense body language (and the fact the two kids from Rizzle Kicks were awkwardly laughing about, "bro, that is how this round is played - what are you so upset about?") was more than enough evidence - even for a social baboon (or FLC stan) that he was acting churlish and childish - and deserved a slap.
I, to this day, don't know what Huey meant by "I don't roll like a punk." So his mug-smash was a stand AGAINST rolling like a punk, and that was his explanation? Were Rizzle Kicks rolling like punks by reading out lyrics? Huey was even the one taking shots at RK through the proceedings. What an absolute copper-bottomed bellend. How in fuck did he continue his various BBC radio jobs after this?
