Something is kind of spooky. I followed MJ and had his shoes and everything as soon as he came into the league. I consider him the Goat and not even close. I enjoy his highlights just as much as anyone. But something just doesn't feel right when I have heard so many people and players say that when they see him it's like he is glowing and/or he doesn't seem real. Shannon Sharpe even said he thought the man was levitating when he was in an elevator with him back in the days. How can a person be that way to so many people? I have never heard that about any other celebrity. I remember when I was in college in Alabama and I went to his first baseball game with the Birmingham Barons. I saw numerous grown men who looked liked they had come from the deep woods who were hollering MJ's name as if they were teenage girls going crazy over a male pop singer or band. I've seen wooden statues of MJ in the Philippines and Argentina. There are probably more in other countries. MJ is the man, but I felt like there was a lot of idolatry going on (probably no fault of MJ).
