Maybe it s wrong but I would watch a movie about the best version ( most survivors ) of the festival of termina, it would really feel like that kind of thrilling horror combined with action and intriguing characters.
Its just so funny how the creator probably googled top 5 biggest cities in Germany. Picked the one that nobody probably heard of internationally and called the whole 3rd reich after it😂
The dev is a European with substantial historical knowledge who uses real-world place names to indicate what the alternate history versions of the countries in this fictional world are analagous to. In many cases they offer hints as to how the geopolitical situation shook out in the fungerverse, for instance Lombardia and The Vatican are two different countries, one being a theocracy, rather than Italy being united under (mostly) secular rule. I imagine Bremen was chosen both because it's referenced in Majora's Mask and because it suited the alternate timeline the developer put together.
@@mutantwormgirl thats all ofc very possible....but its also possible that the dev just googled the biggest cities in germany (and i dont mean that disrespectfully)
As for your recommendation I did in fact, read blood meridian. Very philosophically interesting novel but also one the most unpleasant things I've ever read. It wasn't even the violence that bothered me, I just hated everyone aside from Tobin.
Watching your videos is like hanging out with that friend you really want to hit on but the friendship is too good. Thanks for bringing on a feeling thought lost from childhood
Yup the whole cycle of otherworldly beings and uncomfortsble amount of unwanted sexual imagery with a blend of dark medieval fantasy. This does seem similar to Berserk
As someone who's been following this game since its beginnings as a simple dungeon crawler, kudos to you for giving it the attention it so richly deserves! 👏 Fun fact: you can find me (or a version thereof) as an NPC in Winter Recluse. Goes back to a chat I had with the dev on Twitter a few years ago...😄
I'm so glad this game is getting some love through this video. Love your analyses; you may enjoy checking out another strange little project called Soulestination!
What's funny about the enki- Nas'Rah Dynamic is that Nas'rah is just stock enki with more power and more evil. I like to think that Enki makes a change for the better after meeting him and having some introspection
I love the effort and imagination you apply to these videos , it is a breath of fresh air compared to reaction videos and top 10s of every subject. Thank you. By the rock beneath your feet, good job
I absolutely loved the crazed music during the portal storm , they always gave me the creeps. Even throught the screen. You did a good job as always , thanks for sharing!
I love the use of imagination through the limited graphics of CDDA , your performance and demonstration of the interactions is pleasant to watch! Thank you!
oh god, knowing what happens when you lose to the guard, the fact that its canon that that's what happens to him and thats why he's in the cell is quite messed up lol, poor guy.
While the LISA combat system does superficially resemble Sabin of FF6, I'd say it has more in common with the combat of PS1's Xenogears. Input combo, if sequence is valid for a finisher, finisher executes.
Given how arduous my single playthrough with Osaa turned out to be, I cannot fathom the time and effort this video must have taken. Seriously fucking bravo^
Commented about a year ago about your vids absolutely slapping, and you’ve done diddly did it again. Truly one of, if not the best creators on here. See you in another year when I once again inadvertedly will become absolutely floored by your growth, keep on keeping on, cant wait for the next vid!
I never understood the first game and finished it via walkthroughs, same with the second. It's why I find people that understand these things or piece them together astonishing
you get splinters I played a bunch of thesw rpg maker games and some are really good. They are mostly turn based combat with a novel like story stuff inbetween. but some rare ones are action oriented where youre kinda on a grid but you swing your melee at enemies. The stories are varied but majority are just... you are the chosen one and beat the badies usually them being dnd inspired creatures or an evil corporation. A few have you be the villain and just wreck the world without the usual comedy/theres an even bigger bad then you. In general i think the main reason why theres a ton of them is because everything is set already. The whole programing part is sort of done. Its just the visuals and sounds that you need to add. Youl notice that majority of these games are the same gameplay wise. You got movement up down left right and tou have an interact button, menu button and a back button and a sprint button. Thats kinda all you need. If you played 1 RPG maker game you basically know how to play most of them.
