good question- I didn't save the number... it would be a great exercise for you to listen while looking at an online metronome though and adjusting the speed!
I'm a nurse and have enjoyed your videos, but I'm struggling with vowels and continents, syllabus in a sentence because medical terms are hard, I can't go back until I can talk better 😢
Thank you 😊 I'm a stroke survivor with Asphasia I struggle with talking on the phone my anxiety takes over, people cut me off makes the words get jumbled and my defence mechanisms is to cry
@@amberj9847 I think I have a really good solution for that-- I am so sorry that is happening- should not have to stay in doors :( let me know if you want to talk more: info.beyondhighc.com/contact
I am sorry he is experiencing that :( We are talking in my classes about gestures people can use let people know they have more to say. It seems to be working! I wonder if he'd try that? Thank you so much for commenting 🙏
I think this depends several factors. If you choose your next level goal and practice toward that each day (on your own but also with other people)- you will improve your voice. The better focused you are on your goal, and the more discplined you are in your prcatice, the faster you can improve. It is not enough to practice at home alone though- you must say things to people. The extra layer of nerves and complexity of interaction makes it harder for your words + ideas to come out the way you want. You can do it though! Hello Melinda! So glad you were about to follow along singing and using your left hand! Thank you for your comment! I wish you well in your recovery 🙏!
I don't have Parkinson's or the other conditions that you mentioned. I have a tracheostomy and hypomobility in one of my vocal cords. The symptoms are a raspy voice with very limited range (less than an octave ) and difficulty swallowing safely so I "eat ' through a G-tube. These exercises seem to be of some benefit for me so far as I prepare for a swallow test. Thank you ! Liked and subscribed.
