the stats don't lie: every few months there's a news coverage or article of some cocky mma/bjj clown getting beaten to near death or flat out killed ... ironic how they claim it's the ultimate self defence, ... you don't hear any Krav Maga people suffering a similar street altercation fate, hell you never hear that from aikido even lol ... Jeeh, could it be that lack of ego saves your life?

Stabilizing, strengthening and flexibility of arms and legs are the first important. That way, you may proceed to do some basic exercises like push-ups, sit-ups and etc. Arms and Legs are responsible for lifting, holding or anything. -Any martial arts training method must come first. It was due to body control and meditation.

I studied KM before anyone really cared and before that Karate. What I love about KM is that one of the principles is NOT to get into a fight, meaning you use disabling moves that are illegal to use in MMA so you don't have to get creative and start wresting and doing fancy kicks. So it is hard to compare the true nature of KM as practiced by, let's say a trained soldier with on the street vs. someone who has trained and has rules in the fight, like MMA. Glad you brought out the risk of being creative. The essentials of KM are to avoid the fight, respond to attack with force, get creative when needed, then get the fuck out!

I've trained Krav for seven years and since im a little older I'm also a little slower than the younger guys. I've learned to compensate by neing sneakier, trickier and meaner by , for example, setting traps when I spar. I'll let my opponent believe i missed a move to make sure they move into my range for a coming blow when they least expect it. And in a real situation(Ive unfortunately had the displeasure of having a few close calls but has managed to avoid actual physical contact) I stay relaxed but ready. Always good to know how you react in live situations though preferable to not have to act.

yes they wont limit themselves but that does not mean they will magically learn to defend against weapons, multiple attackers and surprise attacks since they never knew these things to begin with.

Dropping the hands or having them low is also a technique used to have your hands closer to the hands of wrestlers that shoot in for a take down. It’s not just to save energy. Folks like Silva did not have issues with endurance. Nor did Fedor, who had amazing stamina.

Dude Roy Nelson's belly is a weapon lol. That dude could bang man. I did krav maga for years and I took several martial arts first. That being said I didn't understand the other styles I studied until I study krav maga. It just made everything make since. It's a good system for learning quickly. I am 40 years old and I still remember everything I learned. I gave what was supposed to be a quick lesson once after not even thinking about krav for several years. It turned into a clinic once I taught basic stances and punching it all quickly came back to me and I wanted to train again. No doubt the 1minute combat drills would probably kill me now lol. I miss the hell out of it.

Yo I can see the power in that kick, but what if the person attacking you is 7.2 and weighs 180kg well it be enough to stop him ? I have tried in tkd for five years, and Thai for a year ! What happens if I just step out of his path and sweep the leg ?

1st problem: sure you may lose weight, but it doesnt mean its fat. 2nd problem: If you dont feed your body, you will not build muscle. People lose weight LOOK like they are strong because you can see their abs more clearly, but in fact just because you can see their muscles, doesnt mean they are stronger, just that they have less fat around the same muscles. Everyone has abs, being cut is like making a statue from a marble slab, you cut in, not out. 3rd problem: If your eating improperly, the body will actually use muscle as fuel before using fat. This is why a person who diets can actually lose weight, and end up less toned, ahave gooey skin, because the body used their muscle for fuel instead of their fat. Eating right corrects this, not going without food. 4th problem: According to this guy, only those without certain medical conditions would ever be able to get into shape, and this is not the case. 5th problem: He assumes everyone has the same fitness goals, and that weighing less is the primary concern, when thats not the case for everyone. Muscle weighs MORE than fat, so if you weigh less, but still cant handle more weight, thats because you lack the essential fuel your muscles need to grow, and theirfore are sacrificing them for fuel. 6th problem: He says students try hard, but he doesnt know what they eat when not around him, only what they may tell him, and fat people like to cheat on their diets (how you think most of them got fat in the first place, excusing certain medical conditions). 7th Problem: Everyones metabolism is at a different state depending on your age, gender, eating habits ect. 8th Problem: The famine pouch: This is a pouch of fat in your lower abdomen that actually acts as a safety precaution against famine. The way to lose this depends more on WHAT YOU EAT, than on not eating all together. Kids starving in third world countries still have this patch of fat in their lower abdomens, and they eat LESS a day than you intermittent fasters. 9th problem: Most of you will believe what this guy says, more than common sense, if it already lines up with your fad diet, without doing your own research. If so, good luck to you, but I would like to point out, he pretty much says EVERYONE ELSE is wrong, but HIM, then promotes ANOTHER FAD DIET LOL Do whats best for yourself.

Thank you for this video. My favorite fighter is the original King of Pancrase, Ken Shamrock. Shamrock has held a title in every sport he's entered and though he was beaten by Tito Ortiz, keep in mind Shamrock is eleven years older but still fights like a warrior.

U know unknowing about this facts I used to follow everything u told like I do exercise (free hand like jogging ...) 4 days a week sometimes 7 ya bit irregular 😅 I know but yaa I have make my mom to understand me and then I am able to eat food only when I am hungry not that its time thats why I should it ... More over I feel relax throughout day for it and I will recommend more people to follow it.... Yaaa I also eat fruits ocasionally 😝 but veg everyday and rice little bit with keeping some amount of vacuum in our stomach so that our stomach could digest my foods and we will not then suffer from poisoning or ache stomach one ..... Any way love to see your videos buddy !!
