I am looking very much forward to your Sony Bravia Home Theatre Quad review. My finger is just hovering above the Buy trigger... But just need to hear your review on it first. I also have a high ceiling in my home at about 16 feet. Not sure how Quad will perform ...
C is fuller … D has more high end detail. It’s what I said in the video. Though I could change a few settings and the d could sound more like the D … but that’s the difference when keeping all the settings the same
Way too many spammy ads during the broadcast, sure an ad before the show is fine but he put no fewer than 4 in during the broadcast which is a disgrace which ruined the whole experience, won’t be watching him again
As a former owner of the OG A9 and now a current owner of the quad, I can say without a shadow of doubt this system is definitely better. Not sure any new 2024 system is worth a $1 more than its predecessor, Sony definitely killed it with this upgrade. I am definitely looking forward to your future review, as I appreciate your no BS honest non bias thoughts.
Maybe as the bar is more potent and if the TV was really high end and it actually let me put two in front … the Sonos 300 rears though are far superior to the Ds
i have a question, so i have a very old 7 channel denon receiver that does atmos at 5.1.2, should i retire this setup and go with a samsung q990? i never had any problems with it really, its just im moving to a new place and i dont think i have the luxury of hiding all the speaker wires there and all and just want an all round cleaner setup, is it good enough that it can replace such a setup?? thanks! (note: my current setup has 2 speakers physically in the ceiling)
I want to say if that’s what you’re coming from the HTA9 or Quad would be a better substitute … the D is pretty safe but there do seem to be a minority contingency that just don’t like the sound profile. If you can get your ears on it prior to buying, not to get a good idea of surround capabilities, but just the qualities of the sound (too prickly maybe) - there would be a reduced chance of heart ache
@@neverenoughtech thanks for the insight man!, yeah the sony quads are really interesting indeed, thats the thing for the samsung is my local electronic stores dont put it on demo in the stores, i can only buy online, i can only really rely on reviews, its always the case if i can get a decent sound for less money, then why not
Go to automations -> time of day -> select sunset and then in the code space drag in Run and then select the shortcut you want. You’ll need to decide if you want it to run automatically. I’m not sure how location dependent sunset is … a good clue is if it asks for location privileges … other wise you would need to put in some of your own location logic to adjust the time
Hi I'm new to soundbars I was going to buy the Sony ht g700 for 379 euros do you recommend it or there is a budget good surround? and what they are please ,thanks
Funny enough I disliked that soundbar the most of all the ones I ever evaluated. For an alternative I like the cinemas 600 (Klipsch) and dollar per dollar you’d be better off with a Samsung bar
I was excited about the new Sony Quad but, investigating further, I find that it has only a 1 year warranty. Most other audio separates have 3-5 years warranty
Thanks for going into great deal with the comparisons. I love the movie theater sounds, so I know what I'm choosing.. Thanks, your work is appreciated ❤
Great content 👌 👏 Question, can you connect something to the dragon to make it part of a multi room system 🤔 maybe a sonos connect or heos 🤔 Keep up the great content 👏 👌
Dear never enough tech. I am from Switzerland and this was my first Atmos purchase I’ve done. you have been the best one to describe the Soundsystem and it’s worth every penny. Much success and continue…🫡 🇨🇭
so the new sub is going to be the same other than added compatibility with the new set top box? no way to make current subs work with the new set top box?
I’m looking to upgrade my sound bar, I stream everything we watch with the small exception of movies that are downloaded. No physical media. I do play my PS5 on this TV as well. Wired rears aren’t too ideal for my setup. I value bass more than anything I believe. Just every time I’m at someone’s house that has a big bass factor to their set up it is so impressive to me and very movie theatre esque. For the price I’m leaning towards the JBL 1300 after watching a lot of these reviews. If anyone has any advice or recommendations I am very open minded to anybody’s opinion! Thanks!
For the soundbar to get audio from any HDMI port it needs to be an ARC port - that transfers information both ways … most computers and monitors do not support this kind of HDMI port. Most likely to get audio on to the soundbar you would need to use optical, line in, or BT
@@neverenoughtech Thank you very much . One last question because im trying to get to the bottom of this.If I buy an HDMI extractor, [one hdmi in, two out], would I be able to use them one for the monitor and one for the soundbar? . Im planning on getting the 990c but im struggling finding info on pc compatibility.Nvidia has dolby atmos support through the control panel after you download the atmos app software, so there must be a way to access it.Unless its only via an actual tv.
I have a smart ultra and base module 700 and I do say it could be better. i wish the atmos was more drastically better as I wish it would come from the wall on the left and right side of me. And the upwards firing system is kinda lacking. also I wish the grouping feature had less delay as its way to much delay to enjoy anything. I wanted to get the Samsung hw-q995c but my dad went for the ultra for the brand. but seeing how expensive it is it should be better.
Wouldnt the 4th option be to have a lossless DAP wired to a receiver that pushes to the Sonos Port???? Why does no one talk about running this setup with multiple sources, everyone is too caught up in 'streaming' something.
