I was skeptical about the black soy sauce, so before adding it as the last ingredient for the cooking sauce I tasted it first and it was sweet. Instead I added regular soy sauce to balance the flavors and for the salty component, plus I added a bit of salt and pepper. Now it's good 😊

There's a recipe I've been looking for which tastes like Ca Ri Ga, but is grilled and has no gravy, Imagine (ga nuong, but with ca ri flavor). Do you know what I'm talking about? It could have just been the creation of my friend, and not a traditional dish.
