Vietnamese Grilled Lemongrass Pork Chop Recipe (Sườn Nướng)
Ingredients
4 to 5 bone-in pork chops (about 3lbs)
3 tablespoons fish sauce
2 tablespoons oyster sauce
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 tablespoon honey
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
¼ cup minced lemongrass
1 tablespoon minced garlic
2 green onions (thinly sliced whites/greens separated)
1 tablespoon oil
Marinate pork chops with fish sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, honey, black pepper, lemongrass, garlic, whites of green onions, and oil for 30 minutes or overnight in the fridge for better results.
Grill about 10 minutes per side at medium-low heat or 350°F for thick cuts.
Brush with scallion oil for a finishing look. Serve with rice, cucumber, and a fried egg. Drizzle with soy sauce or Nuoc Mam Cham.
