Going to court can be stressful , take notes educate yourself about your particular situation and always put your family ideas first , do not speak foe yourself speak on behalf of yourself and your children . Another tricky part especially with youth and children's cases is you may not get the same judge that has petitioned you to court you may get a certain judge depending on the case , remember this is a PROCESS and you have to educate yourself .

I attended a criminal trial today against my ex (he was found guilty and arrested on the spot). During my testimony, I said my ex called and did not say he left a voice-mail. The defense objected when my prosecutor tried to admit voice-mail, because I did not mention the voicemail - only that I received a call. I really hope my kids father true colors are finally revealed. He has so many people fooled for so many years. It shouldn't be this hard to show who he really is and what mental danger he is putting our kids in - seems he has a justification for everything that makes him look good.
