Hi guys, me again, just a curiosity if you like to tell me, how much did you sell this magnificent R100GS? i'm curios about prices of these bikes in the US and customized...i'm living in Italy and here prices are still fair...and slowly starting to raise as collectible pcs prices
A Mate bought one(grey 90s) new in 1974,cost more then my new FX.He Hated it .Tried cam and extended sump , Hot in north Australia. Found Happiness with Moto Guzzi Le Mans .
Love this bike. There will always be haters, ignore them. You display a respect for airheads that is unique to the other BMW modders. And I am sure the design team who originally worked on that bike would agree.
The size of the front fender looks great on this bike. It's obviously very functional as well, something that is often overlooked on custom rides. I think it does an amazing job of balancing/matching with the large functional rear fender found on this era of BMW's.
Hear me out, we build amazing motorcycles. As yet, we don't make amazing videos. If you're here for the bikes, you won't be disappointed. If it's video production you're here for, we aren't there yet. But we're getting better all the time, so stick around and give us feedback as we progress.
Not to be critical but I noticed on a lot of your videos you mostly concentrate on filming on one side of the bike your showing is there any chance we could get a better look at the other side I really like the quality and design of your bikes keep up the good work always look forward to the next one
Great job man!!! compliments! You make me dreaming...i wanna buy an R45 and do the same cosmetics you did on yours!!! This is the most beautiful R80GS i ever seen before!!
Shame you're in the States, that bike would be my dream bike and I'd consider having one built. Perfect amalgamation of Classic with Modern, just beautiful.
That's the best restomod G/S I've seen yet. I've got a 1986 BMW R80G/S fully original; it used to belong to my mother (no joke) and I did my driving test with it in 1997 at the age of 18. I'm so temped to switch to a 32L Paris Dakar fueltank, single seat and luggage rack. I wonder if it's plug and play and easily reversable.
Thanks Tom! Wow on your G/S, great story. PD tank is not strictly plug and play but it's not that complicated. The best prep you can do is take the front end off and drill an m6 hole through the bump stop, horizontally, and install a nut and bolt. That will stop your handlebars fouling the tank. After that it's plain sailing, just swap on all the parts associated with the big tank.
Man, that is a sweet bike. Some mixed feelings about the hybrid/custom aspect but still pretty friggin' great. I'd be over the moon to have that bike. I had a '73 1/2 R75/5 (/6 wheelbase) that I bought new and had for 31 years. What a bike.
