The Waud Commission started life as a standard 1974 BMW R90/6. It was knackered and we saved it. Refinished in Porsche Fashion Grey, a color first seen on the 356 in the '50s, this bike has been meticulously rebuilt both cosmetically and mechanically. There's a sprinkling of custom work throughout using original parts from BMW's lineage of R-Series motorcycles, along with some aftermarket parts and some parts we've fabricated ourselves. compression and rebound damping knobs.. the preload is the nut on top of the spring

The only thing I don't like on this build is the seat thinnest compared to the tank size. Odd proportions. Otherwise solid.

I’m really happy with the seat. It’s thinner than usual too, allows riders legs to sit closer to the frame

I just would like to know appx ballpark how much do y'all charge for a restoration? Just curious though I do have a '78 R100 that I maintain myself mostly stock. She is my commuter and does awesome in 2024.
