I’m not so sure about this video. I was tanking with sword and shield at low level and still holding threat while spec into protection, and I get nothing but compliments.
To be honest i figured on my own that 2 handed tanking works amazing, i still swap ( with macro ) between 2 handed and 1 handed with shield for intrerupts and heavy dmg fights, but rarely. Still amazes me how many low level warriors just do it with shield and they dont understand why they cand hold agro. Every dungeon i do as a healer i tell the warrs to just tank as 2 handed in def stance spamming sunder
@@arugula4750 must have been some bad experiences then my friend. Check threat tables, thunderclap is an awful ability outside of the attack speed reduction for end game bosses.
Always enjoy your content man! I’ve played HC since release but I am brand new to tanking, so I am really looking forward to your dungeon guide videos. Trying to help fill the perpetual tank void in LFG so any and all info is greatly appreciated.
For me the BEST Race is Dwarf - you can remove Poison, Disease and Bleeding with 1 Button plus take less damage. This is way better than having +5 Swords or Maces in my opinion. I dont fight mobs higher Level than me anyways...usually 2-3 Levels below me.
I am inclined to agree with you on this. Dwarves' stoneform can be extremely clutch at times and is useful in general with it removing poisons and especially diseases while questing/grinding. Some diseases can last 5+ minutes and can affect anything from base stats to even your attack speed which is devastating. Then you have some mobs such as silithid that stack poisons on you dealing large amounts of damage and slowing your levelling efficiency in the process and wolves which can get you with bleeds. And of course, it's helpful while tanking, popping it during a boss encounter takes a bit of pressure off of the healer and it can be the difference between survival and death because +5 weapon skill means little to nothing in such a situation. For Paladins, who lack a hard taunt weapon skill is more useful I'd say but for warriors who are single target tanking machines such isn't really the case. Then you have leveling where weapon skill will make you maybe 3% (at best) more efficient which probably puts you on top when it comes to solo but in groups dwarves definately outshine them until level 60 when everyone is fully dialed in and then the small weapon skill difference will bring human/orc players to the top. But Hardcore is about the journey and not the destination, at least for me. I've hit 60 on a Rogue, Shaman, Hunter, and Priest on Hardcore and once I hit 60 on a character I pretty much sit them on the shelf and only play with them once in a while when I'm not busy with a new toon to get to 60 with.
if you've got money i.e. your war is an alt I bought Killmaim lvl 26...this axe is fun having two rends up at the same time was cool af...used it till I got whirlwind...this is an awesome guide and I'm not an expert
Just ran wailing caverns on my lvl 20 prot warrior. Ur not kidding. I’m using a sword and a shield 😂 no dps was waiting for me 😂 gonna switch to arms and tank lol
For an execute rotation: it's literally not worth to use heroic in your execute window. It costs as much as full power execute but dmgs like 3-5 times less. Your strategy during execute is to maintain your LttS and use as many full power executes in CS window as you possibly can. If you're below 30 rage and MS is on CD, you can use Overpower as this is your least rage-consuming ability.
Great video! Do you know if you have your OC and DC be from the same pipeline as you does it give you more pull for the recruits vs if they were from all different pipelines
@@geekedstreets It has all one skill level. If you choose to rebuild a bad program you’ll find out how hard it is to build a team through recruiting. Especially if your school is in a hot spot. For example the state of Texas where you’re going against Texas, TCU, Texas Tech, A&M, etc. Thanks for watching!
Yeah took me a couple years 3-4 years with San Jose State to change the program . Focus majority on 3 star and trying to find the gems 💎. But stick with your pipelines for sure
Fuck this bullshit ass game...have a 4star program cant get any recruits after sending the house..week after week i lose all the recruits i targeted and spent time on..fuck this bullshit ass game
Good stuff....just back to HC this weekend after a few month break (lost my 52 SSF Warr) and this was a good tune up/reminder for me. Your content and coaching are at a level much higher then your sub/like #s reflect, keep up the good work and you will grow I have no doubt!
I don’t think that’s how “Sway” works… I think it just unlocks 3 more green interests for you and your school only. I don’t think it affects other schools in any way.
@@lgbfjb1183 Personally, I only scout my QBs, or if I’m in a position around Week 8-9 where I have extra hours and I’m spot picking extra recruits. Thanks for watching.
do you accumulate more hours each week of the season? and if so how many? I just started an online dynasty and we are in the preseason and I have 1000 hours. I havent spent a majority of them because I was unsure if I would get any more.
@@Steveholt14 no. You don’t get more hours. The only way you get more hours is if the recruit commits to you, someone else or you drop the hours you gave him. And then you use those hours on someone else. Thanks for watching!
