We’re Brian and Marisa from SW Washington State, an adventurous married couple living for adventures in the Pacific Northwest and Beyond!! You can often find us hiking a trail, a campsite in the middle of nowhere, or on a plane heading to destinations unknown.
We created OUR PNW ADVNTURES to help hikers, travelers spend less time (and stress!) planning their hikes, trips, and more time enjoying it! Giving you trail hiking routes/conditions and reviews. Also, a unique perspective on different locations all over the continent.
Liking the format almost subscribed at the drone footage to start, couldn't resist after talking about being good campsite stewards! Awesome video & showing off the GPNF!
Although I have not camped or soaked in Bog HS, I have been there a few times to check it out. It was nearly 100F outside with absolutely clear skies. Too hot to get into hot water for me. If you get a chance, look up Willow Creek HS and Hart Mountain HS. Those are some of my favorite places to camp and soak for several days.
I went to ignatius earlier this year and it was an experience I will never forget. The entities seemed to like me even teasing me and saying I was there favorite❤️ very kind and amazing
Thanks!! There were some people camping out there, but campsites are really spaced out. Very nice. We use the RIO hammock swinging chairs from Costco. 👍😁
@@ourpnwadventures Awesome! We just bought our first trailer & are planning to take it out for the first time on 4th of July weekend and then again a couple weeks after that. We’re new to trailer life, so it’s helpful watching your videos - I’m binging them! You’ll also have to tell me where Marisa gets her recipes for when you guys are on the road!
Congrats on the new trailer!! That's awesome!! We hope you guys have a great time out camping!! We're learning trailer life too, but getting the hang of it. Lol. Marisa gets recipe ideas from Instagram or just makes things up. Lol. Recommend checking out her cookbook. 😁
Those were some amazing shots of the moon. 😮 I was hoping to see you set a land speed record with the new trailer but maybe that’s not such a good idea. There was a fellow several years ago that did that and ended up going through the 8th dimension.
We are so excited for you guys, having that hot water system is going to be a total game changer, a hot shower is just about the most luxury thing I could think of when camping. We can't wait to see all the awesome adventures to come! My girlfriend and I have watched your videos for a long time now in anticipation for our trip together, we are finally setting off now for 11 weeks! We are starting in LA and driving north today all the way up the coast to Olympic national park, then over to glacier, back through gifford pinchot and down inland through Yosemite and back to LA, and everywhere in between of course! We can't wait to see all the spots you guys go to for ourselves, hopefully we can steal some of your campsites too >:) Thank you for the inspiration these last few months, with me being from australia, and her living here, it can be hard, but your videos have always helped us feel hopeful about the future, and excited about our trip. See you on the trails!
This is by far the best comment we have ever got!! Thank you so much for the kind words!! Wow your 11 week trip sounds like it's going to be amazing!! We hope you 2 have a great/safe time, all those locations are so beautiful!! We are going to try to go to Glacier too the 1st week of July. If you ever have any questions feel free to send us a email or hit us up on Instagram. Safe travels!!
@@ourpnwadventures That's awesome, we are going to be there around the first week of July too, we would lose it if we bumped into you guys, I've never met a celebrity before!
What app do you guys use to find these amazing camp sites? My husband and I love dispersed camping but are getting tired of the same spots. TIA. Love your channel❤
I was born in a doctor's house in Condon 74 years ago this month. Left there pretty much immediately, and never went back. Thanks for the update on my birthplace -- and especially for lot's of information about the place I never knew. Seems like it's worth a visit.
@@ourpnwadventures Thanks. I was pleasantly surprised to find your video. Needless to say, it wasn't my choice to leave Condon as a 4-month-old, but I certainly don't regret my parents' choice to move on after the event.
I've been camping / hunting in the GPNF since 2006. I typically stay just north of Eagle Cliff store. After watching a few of your videos, you've opened my eyes to what I've been missing. I definitely need to explore more. I'm limited to pulling travel trailer though. The wife refuses to tent camp 🤣You mentioned Matt's Meats, you must live nearby. I'm in BG
Yes there's so much out there. We are constantly exploring and checking out new areas. We just got an adventure trailer for our rooftop tent so we will be kinda limited going forward. But there's tons of disburst campsites out there. We recommend the ONX app or ioverlander app. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions. Oh ya we're from Kelso. Lol
@@ourpnwadventures when you say ONX which version. They have hunting, back country, offroad, etc. I'm kinda looking for something that not only has trail information but can also give driving directions without cell service. I get terrible service up there
ONX Offroad. It's a really great app, you can download offline maps and also can navigate with it & Google maps. Also it's not that much money per year. 👍
@@ourpnwadventures thanks! I'll give it a shot. The wife and I are heading toward Kalama Falls this weekend to scout out dispersed camping locations for a future trip.
To tell u the truth we haven't had too much luck with the spirit box. Better luck with emf. But to get a spirit box u can find one at ghoststop.com or even Amazon. Thank u so much for subscribing!!
Our family lived in Redmond when the dude from India took over Antelope, Oregon. The story's are definitely true. He was constantly in the news along with his partner in crime the woman. I can't pronounce or spell either one of their names. Pretty crazy watching it all unfold.
Love that place, such a cool experience! Sorry you guys had all that wind, sounds crazy! The hot springs over there are cool and have a nice camp spot! 💕
No we haven't yet. Closest place we have been to there is Panther Creek Falls and hiking in the Indian Heaven Wilderness. Definitely need to go there. Thanks!!
