Sorry man, grew up on transformers. I think cliffjumper is an ass in this scene and a few other select ones. But we all gots opinions, so to each their own 😊
Think you missed the point where he purposefully didnt listen and didnt learn a lesson. Just cause you made a mistake doesnt not make you an ass in that moment. Also, wouldnt you be upset if a mistake your friend made paralyzed you? I would, but again, thats just my opinion
@@NotDeadSpider Again he's not the first Autobot to not listen to an order and it ended badly perfect example grapple and hoist Optimus ordered them not to build a solar tower not only did they disobey that order they teamed up with the constructicons and then they got buried under it after it was destroyed and hoist and a couple of others got hurt so no I'm not missing the point also hound wasn't paralyzed if he lost the ability to transform or walk forever that would be paralyzed he was literally up and about in the middle of the episode
Hey man, not looking to argue. You make some good points. But making shitty mistakes doesnt make you, in that moment, less of an ass, just saying this is my opinion. And yes hound was temporarily paralyzed. I never said permanent, even mention it in the vid. Have a nice day 😊
Dude, he’s not an asshole. He did it because the decepticons are evil, and he has a perfect target on Megatron and he’s a little tiny transformer and he has a big bazooka you think he’s an asshole just for that
No, because he did it when everyone told him to and when he did people got hurt and he didn't learn his lesson. Apparently he does other shifty things in the series as well like accusing friends of treason just cause he can
This isn't the only time. Cliff one time falsely accused Mirage of treason out of no where and with no evidence. There wasn't even the setup of a misunderstanding then accusation it was the other way around. I think that's why he gets killed off in Prime and Bumbelbee.
Yep better than the weird 3d bs that's playing today 80's and 90's cartoons and sitcoms and music pretty much everything was better than what's out today
There's good ones nowadays too but I think they feel few and far between due to the sheer velocity of content that gets made every day compared to how much used to come out in the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. I get overwhelmed especially with superhero shows nowadays and even though I enjoy most superhero content I can agree that they don't feel great most the time and the effort just isn't there as much
@NotDeadSpider sunbow is the company that released the first, and main set of GI joe cartoons. The fandon groups them into the Sunbow Era, and the Dic era
I remeber these shows well. I always loved GI Joe as a child. I have watched gi joe and Transformers recently and still love them. TMNT came a bit later in my childhood. I liked the show, but no where near as much as I did GI Joe, Transformers, and He-Man
@NotDeadSpider because, as rushed as they are, the creators tried. Yes, they were all 24-minute toy commercials, but even with the restrictions, the animators and creators wanted to make something good. GI joe actually hit some very dark stuff with episodes like there's no place like Springfield parts 1 and 2.
Nah this fits perfectly with autobots you’ll see in most things like idw or the Netflix show even prime that most autobots weren’t warriors or soldiers till the war started and they were going against already trained killers which was Megatrons main advantage everyone on his side wanted to fight while Optimus had people who just wanted a normal life so they either took up arms, abandoned their planet, found other jobs that would help them survive or tried to lay low till the war was over.
Honestly... I wanna see a series based on what all happened with shockwave and all of those remaining decepticons while Prime and Megatron were away... We have NO idea what happened
@@NotDeadSpider sadly he doesn't speak in his own voice. He turned it off in protest to cruel and unusual punishments used on prisoners and slaves like Megatron. He's Megatrons information officer. This is explained in the covenant of primus in great detail. When Megatron was rebuilt as a stealth bomber, he recorded Megatron slapping starscream around. This was in the comic with the figure. Soundwave is always bad ass though. The most stoic.
Optimus is not a bad leader. He specifically told Bumblebee that to better prepare him for those kinds of situations, either encouraging him to train more, or helping him to adjust his mindset and better his preparedness. Optimus has within him the Matrix of Leadership, containing the collective WISDOM of the 13 original Primes. If Bumblebee struggled in that kind of situation, it’s due to his own lack of initiative in regards to his improvement.
When I saw the thumbnail I got up and knew it would be perfect for a commentary vid. It was funny af and I cant wait to see what else you got. I'll get your name right next time lol
Sword of a Thousand Woes sounds like it’s made of Pandemonic Silver. Weapons made of that material in 3.5 had an associated fear effect when unsheathed with a strength dependent on surrounding wind speeds.
The point being the ones who survived they were off to the side of the body. The ones who actually died they were through the spine or course to it. Also i think you forgot the Starkiller stab from force unleashed 2 when the dark clone stabbed starkiller.
'wahhh, disney lightsabers don't kill anymore, cuz like there have been 3 annoying instances of someone surviving... uwu' Disney lightsabers: - killed Trench - killed a couple of Mauls Mandalorians in CW S7 - killed some stormtroopers and a tie pilot in Rebels - killed Fifth Brother - killed Seventh Sister - killed Yaddle - killed Khonshu Reaper in TOTJ - killed 2 nightsisters in TOTE - killed that jedi survivor in TOTE - all the enemies in JFO + JS killed by Cal's, Jaro's or Cere's lightsabers (especially the non-human characters, goddamn they went hard w/ the vicious plant life) - killed Lor Sen Tekka - killed Han Solo - killed all 8 praetorian guards - killed those mustafar cultists in episode 9 - killed the Knights of Ren - killed at least 2 of Morgans guards in Mando S2 - killed those klattoinians in BOBF - killed that guy in OWK Part 2 who was on drugs - killed like 4 stormtroopers in OWK (admittedly, 2 or 3 of those deaths were one of the few scenes in OWK that in terms of visual effects looked so bad) - killed those... things... in Mando S3 Chapter 18 - killed a few clone bois in Mando S3 Chapter 20 - killed all those new republic soldiers in Ahsoka Chapter 1 (esp that officer, that was a direct stab IN THE SAME EPISODE AS WHEN SABINE SURVIVED. I DON'T LIKE SABINE BEING STABBED BUT THAT SHOULD ALLOW YOU TO EASILY INFER "OH, HE WAS DIRECTLY STABBED= DEATH, WHERE AS SABINE BEING STABBED IN SIDE= BARELY OK AFTER TREATMENT". i find it ironic SOME people want star wars to be nothing but mature and intellectual, yet they're unable to infer things for themselves) - killed Marok in Ahsoka Part 4 - killed Mauls Mandalorians in Ahsoka Part 5 - killed some Peridea raiders in Ahsoka Part 6 + 7 - killed like 100 (with some awkward choreography for about 5 seconds) stormtroopers in Ahsoka Part 7 + 8 - killed those 2 zombie death troopers - killed Morgan - are we counting visions?? nobody survives a stab there?? I'm not here to defend reva being fine after being stabbed by vader, but i don't get why ppl are like "this is how lightsabers are now" No... lightsabers still kill people (i mean TOTE came out like 6 weeks ago)... these few instances are more reflective of lightsabers (or really the flimsy/not flimsy context behind the characters survival) in that particular moment, not lightsabers in the grand scheme of things That and anakin survived losing 3 limbs and roasting alive in lava, soooooooooooo...
The argument is that the lightsaber will boil your blood, cut through bones and organs while catarizing them so it's next to impossible to heal. For me, Sabine got medical care. But Reva did not, it never affected her and is just lazy writing. Darth Vader got medical care, maul was fueled by hatred, Reva had no explanation at all
Kylo, Grand Inquisitor, Sabine, and Reva (twice) survived being stabbed by a lightsaber Qui Gon, Savage Opress, Satine and many others: “WHAT IN THE INTERGALACTIC F*** IS THIS BULLSH*T?!?!?!”
The Reva ones boil my piss How did she survive being stabbed by Darth Vader TWICE?? Like what is the logic there, are we supposed to believe he happened to stab in the exact same place again and therefore there was just kind of a convenient gap in her flesh and organs that it ended up not doing much damage the second time? Or did she get stabbed in two different areas, once as a child, and just tanked that shit? Is Darth Vader such a God damn moron that both times he just didn't hit any vital organs? And also, how the FUCK did she survive the first one because that was right in the Jedi Temple, where everyone was being murdered, so you're not telling me she got immediate medical attention.
He shouldn't have been stabbed in the first place as anyone already familiar with the character, like i was, would just be very confused until they realised that they had to bring him back during the series at some point.
Nah, bro. Dooku stabbing Rish-Loo was great. They way he brushes off his sleeve after, saying he was so beneath him that his touch was like filth, was cold as ice. I am also partial to the stabbing of the Pyke leader. It was such a cool scene.
The thermal damage from a stab would be very fatal. It would cook the flesh, but more importantly it would flash boil fluids leading to localized steam explosions rendering flesh. Moreover, it would cook blood, leading to all manner of fatal cerebral and pulmonary embolisms. Unless someone was immediately treated with anti-coagulants, people would die.
I also think the biggest difference with Sabine getting stabbed is that Ahsoka arrives literally seconds after it happens, so she gets medical attention right away and she’s not just lying on the floor til the fight finishes like Qui-Gon
I still think a stab to the gut should be significant as a kill as it was in the pre-Disney times but a stab to the shoulder or something like that could be used to drive plot. Idk could just be me
I think they just need to write them better like how the did with Darth maul. He had it the worst and still came back but they wrote it into his character rather than brushing it off
