Mike Mangas interviews Doug Keister and Susan Condon about Storybook Style homes in the Eastwood Park neighborhood in Chico, California. Storybook Style got its start in the Los Angeles area in the wake of World War I. A new edition of STORYBOOK STYLE, photographed by Douglas Keister and written by Arrol Gellner is slated for publication by Schiffer Books in late 2016.

I live in the twin of that house, but I'm in Prescott, Arizona. I wish I could have seen the whole inside. My house was built for one family and not as a condo. I found the original book with the plans and was surprised that it was meant to be a two family home. You can see it on my blog anoldfashionedworld.blogspot.com/2014/12/my-home.html. It has the original roof too. I'm definitely buying your book.
