I started this cooking channel mainly for my two young daughters. Some day they can come back to my channel and see how I cooked their favorite dishes.

Since I was a little girl I love to cook. I still remember playing with small clay pots pretending I was cooking. Starting when I about 12 years old my mom made sure all my sisters and I spend time in the kitchen getting familiar with different spices, vegetables and fish. I love the smell of raw spices. It's remind me of the time I spent cooking together with my sisters.


Nowadays I love to cook for my family and friends. I continue to grow and learn by making different dishes from around the world, not just Sri Lanka. Trying new dishes makes cooking fun and very exciting to me. Most of all I want to share with you how to cook all the dishes I loved growing up in Sri Lanka, and some new non-Sri Lankan dishes that I've spiced up too.
