When I used my Wagner I couldn’t get it to spray smooth. My dresser and nightstands ended up with a texture to it. It’s been 7 years and I’m thinking about redoing them. We’ll see though I have a lot of home projects to do. Might be a year or two before I’m able to do them
Why use a fake wood paint when a couple of those nightstands were really nice wood, strip them down and put whatever finish you want. not to mention if you just bought & refinished the set with the walnut veneer you only have to put in a fraction of the time and probably make a little little more money
Question; One of my pet peeves with older night stands and dressers is the way drawers pull out... some are very loose and almost fall when pulling out, others super tights, whiles others just feel super clunky. Do customers complain about that or do you find furniture where the drawers pull out nice and easy but feel sturdy and on track?
2631 (profit) ÷ 101 (hours of labor) = $26.31/hr That's only just ok. Another way to look at it is, it is towards the bottom of the barrel for working for yourself. This isn't a knock on anyone, just wanted to do the maths and share. If I were doing this I would want to change something in order to get that closer to $50.
