Tettles mate until they fix the myriad of bugs in keys all things you say are useless i cant play a dawn 12 and the webs and poison line do not appear at last boss at all this is cringe factory at this point
Would be great if you can upload the logs for these runs if you are going to do a video on it :) Definitely curious how in the world the rsham removed the revolting volley so quickly. If you look closely, he downpours before it goes off (not that it heals that much anyway) and he Chain heals AFTER the volley is cleansed. He isn''t running CBT, so can't be that. Healing tide isn't out. Not clear to me really how it was done without any CD, unless maybe the Enh has AG up and hit some big AOE hits.
It's cool to see a breakdown of all of the intricacies of timing a key like this. I can't help but feel that these high keys are kind of reserved for the exclusive group of players that already have access to elite level teams. As someone that really only pugs, I have only been able to try a 12 once (my own key), and the group was disbanded on the first pull. I have been trying to push my key back up to 12 for the past 6 days. Normie players like me are at such a significant disadvantage because we don't even have the ability to *practice* these keys, because we don't have a group that's willing and able to push up to 12 and actually figure out together. Then we are told to just find a group but really there's only very small number of highly competent players are able to do these kinds of keys. Furthermore, keys are extremely toxic these days and it seems like the antithesis of a good place to start a relationship with someone else. I wish blizzard would even the playing field a little bit and give everyone access to these keys through some sort of matchmaking system instead of gatekeeping them behind players that already have established relationships with other elite players. So although it's cool to see the strategy, the strategy is irrelevant to me because the truly hard part about these keys is actually getting into them in the first place.
Idk how to deal with the left/right side as a Guardian Druid other than just relying on externals, which is a gamble with PuGs. Shifting out of my form results in me getting 1 shot by the next autohits. Could play DotC, shift into cat and back but playing DoTC over EC for basically a single trash pack in a dungeon also doesn't seem optimal...
I am genuinely confused why no one else is using the tailoring stun. Haven't seen it a single time and I've done Ara Kara on 13 This trivializes the entire first area
I'd guess it's because unless you're a mage, priest or warlock, why would you just randomly be tailoring if you're the average player? So unless you have a mage who's tailoring, you probably don't have the stun, because the chances of warlock or priest being brought to this key are slim compared to a mage.
Still doesn’t change the fact they moved mythic track gear from +15 to now +20. Same level as the portals. That’s like moving mythic gear gear to to Broodtwister or even silken court then saying “yeah just get gud if you want gear.” Gear is a crutch to help progress when skill can’t. Just leave mythic raid difficulty alone and tell everyone that since liquid and echo can do it everyone else should be able to as well. Oh and we have moved gear progression to the middle of the raid instead of the first bosses. Have fun. It’s just not.
Don’t forget that KSM was also +15 every key but now it’s a mix of +17 and +18. My guild got AoTC last week and it’s a graveyard now bc what’s the point of M+ if the rewards and ach/portals are more unobtainable this patch than ever before.
"I dont like last boss in SV because its poorly designed and not engaging" meanwhile ranking ara-kara (dungeon with 2 of the worst designed bossed ever) as S tier.
I've pugged up to 2400 and honestly not really enjoying the dungeons this season. Ara Kara would be S tier if I played ranged. The rest are all B and lower for me. Necrotic Wake is trash, F tier is too generous.
Close to what you have. City of Threads is actually nice except for 3rd boss. And Boralus is trash tier F, yeet it into the sun. Mists is a “good/easy” dungeon that has the chance to punish you the most with pugs who don’t understand or do the mechanics carefully.
that casual of a player shouldnt get access to dung portals. 15 was already done 1 week after WRF... 10 is not supposed to be easy, is as easy as a mythic boss..
I don't rly care about gilded crests but everything below 8 is still kind if useless. And for kind of useless these dungeons are just aweful. Aweful to pug, aweful to heal. I usualy just farm the wyrm or now rune crest key levels. But this season it's just too much. No fun, just annoying.
I climbed to 2500 on my Pally as Lightsmith prebuff of Lightsmith and now with the recent buff to Lightsmith I feel insanely useful and tanky. However... I would say at the level I play Prot Pally it's not an easy spec to play compared to War/Druid by any means. It feels like having your brain ripped apart cause you are putting absorbs on people, bop'ing, sac'ing, sometimes offhealing, prority interrupting certain mobs etc. So with the new rework I will likely be godly but I still dont see it being played well unless you really understand the spec in and out.
Mythic plus just isn’t rewarding. Lowering the barrier for myth gear is bizarrely senseless as it just giving people who arent good enough to do 9s gear to make 9s easier. You can very simply do 10s 11s 12s 13s without myth gear so giving it to people for doing an 8 that you can do with two average dps and a handful of deaths makes no sense. Only other option for these is mythic raid which is significantly a larger challenge. We end up with more people at higher iL and score but less of that pool is capable and there is t a simple way to differentiate aside from a deep dive on logs which is a silly fix. Myth gear should be rewarding for completing difficult content and help you push silly keys or make the hardest content easier to farm after having got the kills in the first place. If 8s are an achievement for someone then THATS the reward not top end gear to make mid range content easier. Now the reward for anyone decent is pushing high keys and that’s it, it’s pretty backwards really. Part of the problem I guess is just how gamers these days need some sort of “tangible” reward for everything to find a reason to do it. Battlepasses, gear, achievements, crests, and so on instead of just being happy to do the stuff. There should of course be an element of that but it’s like all that matters now so the progression is dull you get everything from the easy part of the game then the end game (high keys) is without reward other than completion which again should be 90% if the goal but should be topped up with something of interest.
You also have a lot more to achieve in lower keys than the best of the best gear, you have a significantly larger amount of head room for personal skill growth to make meaningful impacts far greater than gear but we do t encourage that we just hand out bis gear
Tettles, we really need some visibility on how punishing the crest system discount system functions. Currently, only Mythic Raiders or VERY lucky, end of season M+ers will unlock crest discounts for Myth track items. The system needs to function like valorstone discounts and not require FULL 639 gear to get discounted alt gear.
Bro, dragonriding in the Dawnbreaker isn't that great, last time I dropped through the deck of one of the small ships and of course people pulled, four deaths on the board.
I feel like most the complaints about mythic dungeon difficulty are coming from people who usually get carried in their keys up to +10, or 20 previously. Sure, I would agree that it’s harder to carry people right now in mythic +. But if everyone knows the dungeons and the mechanics and how to play their class properly, it’s still a stomp fest up to +10, given people are actually at the appropriate ilvl as well. I forgot to equip gloves in a GB 11, which brought my ilvl from 619 to 594, and I still had no problem healing it. Dmg is far less spikey and one shotty, and I’m finding it’s a lot easier to heal if you’re prepared for the dmg events. People also care way too much about spam healing people so they don’t die to avoidable dmg. Just let them die and if the key bricks try again. Hopefully they learn the mechanics for the next one. I don’t even look at my party frames if I know there’s no unavoidable dmg I need to heal, and I hit my dps buttons to help kill mobs faster (even though healer dps feels like a wet noodle this season.)
@@idkjustaname yeah it feels terrible. As rsham the acid rain nerf felt really bad since healers already no dmg anyway. I want s4 of SL damage again lol.
Pres evoker in m+ is super strong but much harder to play around than a resto shaman. Pres has pretty static ramps with both hero talent trees and can struggle to triage unexpected damage without committing cooldowns you need for group healing. The range also doesn’t help. In a perfect world I think pres is as good or maybe even slightly better than resto but having to plan around pres is so much more effort for minimal gain over resto
Aug should be the only ranged in S tier. No other ranged should be in S tier at the moment. Having shadow priest on the same tier as unholy DK is funny.
