The FASTEST Way to Level in the War Within (70-80 in 2 hours) 

I'll save you a watch: Get a group of four other max-level players to speed-run you through dungeons. Get several max-level characters for the +% XP boost. The end. If you do not have a bunch of friends/max level players then this is useless for you.

For those who don’t understand exactly what to do. First character: level through the campaign and use normal dungeons/side quests to finish. All subsequent characters: Queue normal dungeons with friends. You want at least 1 player be level 70 on a semi geared character. Because scaling is broken you will rip through the dungeon. Characters 1-4 will be slower. But each character after the 4th will be fast as hell. You get a 5% exp increase (up to 20%) for each character at 80.

If this gets nerfed DURING early access it sets such an insanely bad precedent id be so pissed

Remember leveling professions with first craft bonus gets you exp as well. I spent gold to get my BS to 50 skill and got 2 levels

Spamming dungeons is by FAR the fastest way to go. Also, if you haven’t got the cindermead bee mount on your main, level your alt by killing bees and wolves for the tokens needed to buy the mount. I’m leveling my third 80 that way plus I picked up skinning and mining so that I can not only level to 80 while gathering tokens to buy the mount, I can also make some money off the mats skinning wolves and bees! 🐝

why do people say doing the campaign in full is less than 80 when some of the campaign is required level 80?

I hope they don't "fix" this. There's no real reason to. People who wan to quest to level, will quest and people who just want to get to max level and who detest questing and regrinding the same stuff we already did on our main, can level in dungeons, it's a win win.

They haven't fixed the scaling yet but you can no longer turn off xp to keep a character at 70. My plan is to get a lot of my alts to 77ish, then continue leveling them the first few days of launch when there's an influx of 70s

Leveled my mage and felt weak - swapped to my lvl 70 warrior and soloed normal dungeons in 10-15 min no. Scaling is so broken it's insane

For anyone who has a geared tank at 70: you can make a boosting service out of this. Probably can take in a lot of money in first couple weeks.

Is it better to do each zone side quest with each caracter ? To get the reputation grind (4 zones) ?

Same people who complain about the game are the same people who dont play the game.

Leveling solely from dungeons is only fastest if you’re a tank or a healer. If you’re a dps you’ll want to just run through the campaign again while letting your dungeon queue run in the background.

Bosses in normals are so undertuned that it takes the fights are like 10 seconds

It's not an exploit, it has existed in MoP for months and won't be 'fixed' at this point or there would be uproar

yeah i noticed this boost today. we had a druidtank level 12. and the rest of us was arround 30/35. he outdamaged us as tank by 500% or something... insane. and me as healer offdamaging easy fights was #2 just below his dps. this scaling is a bit off if u ask me:P

A question on what you say. I came to my level 80 or 79 with a friend who is level 70 and he level fast and I drop equipment for my main and later for alt?

But isn't the low level toon gaining levels also? Were you swapping toons to keep low lvl characters in to boost with? Seems like a very niche thing that won't be abusable by a lot of players.

That way is good if you are tank or heler is insta q, but if you are a dps is better do quest and be q to dungeons and do both

Even if yer spamming random normals, you will likely get someone low level on a decently geared alt these first few days. The second dungeon is done, attempt to requeue and hope the accept. You can literally pull all the trash ontop of each boss in the leveling dungeons even this way.

I mean it's I lvl vs level it's not broken it's the diff of being 528 at 70 and 528 still at 78

Yeah I really disliked the normal leveling dungeons. I didn't want the Pandaria Remix experience again, being a tank and all. 20 years and they can't figure out a way that you don't feel disgustingly weaker as you level up - no, no, it's getting even worse. This is actually the biggest faceroll in dungeons I have ever seen. Including end of expansion Wrath and the like.

Ive always leveled by doing dungeons on alts. Its actually been this way for a LONG time now... like since SL ended I think?

This way is fast but inefficient. It's better to level your alts through the story, so you can max out your renown faster.

Levelling just questing is very fast anyway. And actually very enjoyable.

Lmfao, you DO NOT need to do the campaign at all. This is awful advice. - You should not do the campaign if you only care about m+ and raiding - provided you are okay with “losing out” on some early gear/etc. - don’t waste your time doing the campaign if you don’t care about it or some early gear.

dont do campaign on your main if you were endgame player. Cos, just que up premade with all other 528s, and you will get 70-80 in less than 1 hour now :D Had 3 528s, we run with guildies 3-4 min per dung. Bosses die in 2-3 seconds. And we are still op at 79, and clear dungs with them in max 5 min. And also dont get rid of your set bonuses, because some 2sets are stronger than like full 560-570 gear. On my frostmage i have full 565+ ilvl items, but i run my 2set from last tier, cos with 2set my glacial spike deals 1.5m damage, with full current gear at minimum of 565 in a slot, only 900k, i think blizz put the numbers in tooltip in wrong order, not 16% increased spike damage, but 61% :p.
