It's been 20 years since I left CTCRM after 3 years of Rct Trg and never got past test week due to injury after injury after injury, last one was a snapped fibula on the End Cse. Easily my life's biggest regret and the place still haunts my dreams to this day.
Definitely in this position and can relate. Took a lot out of the video. Thanks a lot mate. 1. Get rid of distractions. 2. Have an honest conversation with yourself.
Great workout, no BS, just the work. Stumbled across you after weirdly seeing you beast Lucy Davies. I think that's her surname. Respect to you and all serving and ex-serving personnel
I would like to join the Royal Marines, im fit but still need to work on these requirements, but im not sure if i should apply now as the application process is long and by the time i hopefully get to the pre assessment centre i should be fit enough to pass the course, or should i wait until im fitter?
@@CompleteCommando not a clue, my plan was to join at 18-20 and then I had a flair up of eczema and then I found out you can’t join with eczema as bad as mine. If I was unable to join, my backup was become a paramedic and go to med school.
You dont need to turn up at CTC super human. The training team and the first 10 weeks will do the that especially the gym sessions/ camp circuits leading up to Gym passout. Bottom field is a different beast all togehter. I think back fondly and with some heavy regret at the time i spent at Lympstone in the past. Whilst there, just dont let injury and forgetting the reasons why you joined hold you back. Good luck.
Society isn’t like it used to be. A lot of guys have never trained much before. When we were growing up you were non stop exercising down the park with your mates etc.
Really enjoyed this. My lad is coming to the end of commando phase right now (may24) and I shared this with him as I think this is full of great advice. BZ Royals.
Going into the marines in a few years, when I'm old enough. Currently a cadet and already training fitness ready for my journey to become a commando and this looks awesome.
We are all Royal Marines Commandos with operational experience. We teach young guys how to map read, teach them proper techniques for training, mental resilience and how to conduct themselves. Get a grip of yourself and stop being a troll.
@@CompleteCommando Troll? I have actual experience. Real military training. Your content has been a joke, even your comment alone just tells me how you have no idea, no experience, no training, nothing. Be a shamed.
Been constistently training for months but have been starting to get off-days such as getting up late or missing sessions and then have tried to bring something back. I definitely want this, it's just knowing how to act when recovery or life does not go in your favour. One instance I think hitting me is too much caffeine atm.
Hats off to you to you brother. I was once like you until I've realised how important time and progress is to us as men. I've embarked on my journey to join the Royal Marines as a Common Wealth citizen but I don't know or have any friends or relatives in UK to include in my application. I would really appreciate it if a friend from UK would help me out with their address for me to come stay with them. Just for a period of 3-6 months before I settle in on base to start my new career.
Great video and I think this will help loads of people as it’s easy to get strong physically, but mentally it’s one of the hardest things to build! Well done and great vid 💪🏻
Cheers for this mate. Just passed my PJFA and training for my cpc in a few weeks time. Been finding your channel so helpful. Keep up the brilliant vids👍
What's the maximum score for these test, i.e. pull-up, press up, sit up, bleep test, run time, to give you the best chance of getting fast tracked into training?
Well being scared of one of them is logical and the other illogical so the good news is that it can be overcome. "Knowledge Dispels Fear". You need to establish if it's height or exposure that bothers you and then find the point at which it kicks in. Once you've established those parameters you can push them further.
Yo im 16 years old and thinking of joining the marines but is there anyway or website or app that can help me prepare? I have been going gym for 3 years now and can run about 7 miles
